Bismillahi rahmani Raheem, assalamu alaikum
One of Shaykh Abdul Qadir al Jilani’s most famous works is futuh al ghayb, revelations of the unseen, He was one of Islam’s major saints, this work is a manual on how to achieve spiritual awareness, similarly Imam Ibn Arabi wrote his famous work futuhat al Makkiyah, and the prophet (saws) like every prophet (saws) was known for his spiritual awareness of the world around him and its creatures, being able to understand every creature and communicate with it.
When our openings began Allah introduced us to the spiritual world that existed around us, including its creatures, this is the account of when these became more regular in our life.
In my youth in order to deal with a fitnah that was attacking me I had to understand its spiritual nature in order to destroy it, to help me fight back Allah began to open the spiritual world for me, so He prepared our first steps.
In my collection of books I had a very special book of dua, I didn’t know how special until I saw the birds and ants help me recover and fight against what was attacking me. I used to recite from it seeking Allah’s help then one day I noticed the birds interacting with me directly, I saw good birds and evil ones that would attack me for no reason so I saw from this how the Jinn would control Allah’s creatures.
One day after I put the book down, I heard a voice say to me that is a very special book, we wouldn’t have helped you if it wasn’t in your possession. I asked why and they answered it is fate that brought it to you and when wee see these things we read the signs and what they mean, what it means is that Allah connected you with its story and the silsila of people who would come to own this book around the world.
This is something I have seen more than once with Islamic books, they have a spiritual force behind them that the creatures of the spiritual world recognise and respond to because of what the book meant and did in life.
The famous tafsir to Sahih Bukhari, Fath al Bari is one such work, when I began to recite it in arabic, I didn’t even own a copy i was reading it online, Jinn visited me in my dreams and told me this book is celebrated by them and those who recite it receive its Baraka and become part of its silsila. Part of the group of people who came to read it in this life, it is something they will be recognised by in the next life.
Its Baraka is like the massive celebration the people of Masir held for its author when he completed it, then they gave me a vision of that original celebration as they preserved it with them over the years.
When Allah says in the Quran “He taught man by the pen”, it means Allah put His light inside books, “And He guides to His light Whom He wills” (24:35).
So if you can you should own this work, another is Sahih Bukhari, Muslim and Sunan Abu Dawwud, when I purchased them is saw many types of shayateen leave the house never to come back again, before they left they said words to the effect of; these will protect and preserve the sunnah of the prophet (saws) in your life, and they couldn’t do anything against them as long as they where present, so please go out of your way to buy these works and keep them in your home they avert the worst kind of fitnah that destroy’s Islam in your life.
To illustrate this kind of Baraka that is present in books and a result of owning them, a few years ago I visited someone I knew in my youth and saw how they changed from what I knew them as. They became a shaytan and turned their entire family to the same. The matter was so bad that being in his house was like being amongst wild animals such was the atmosphere, it was very thick in the air and you could not even counter it with your own adab. As I sat with Him listening to his stories, I saw he had no trace of his heritage in him, his face looked completely like a foreigner, like a white man was staring at me, all this despite being an Arab from the days when that meant it was in your blood for life.
As he spoke he mentioned that someone from his family, to get back at something he did to them, threw out all of his Islamic books, some of which were very old works of Tafsir.
I knew if I gifted him anything it would not last long in his house, so the next time I visited him I brought a bag with me and in it was Tafsir al Jalalayn, books of Hadith and some classical works on Islamic history. When I got the chance and he wasn’t around I went into his attic and hid the books in a place he couldn’t find them, I then left and came back some weeks latter.
Allah and His Mala’ikah are my witness to this, the next time I sat with Him he looked like an Arab again, his eyes were no longer dead and despite still being a shaytan he had some light in his face and his manner was much more agreeable, more than that the atmosphere in the house was Arab again.
The presence of these books drove out the foreign Jinn that were influencing and dominating His life, and His Arab Jinn once again had more control over what occurred in their own house, the books afforded Him this kind of protection in a foreign land.
Insha Allah if you have understood that I will tell you about a book that all Jinn respect, Muslim, Shayateen, Christian or Jew, there is no exception and that is Imam Ibn Sireen’s Dictionary Of Dreams.
The Imam was one of the most famous Tabiin (ra), so this work is over a thousand years old, the Jinn themselves described this book to me, amongst them it is like a book of law, Fiqh, and having this in the home dictates to them how they can or can’t treat you.
That is because the world of dreams is the world of ghayb, the unseen, their world, and a dictionary on dreams is like a book to the meaning of life to them.
Insha Allah, fill your houses with the classical works of Islam even if you don’t read them, because their presence dictates to the Jinn what they can or can’t do to you.
Seeking to heal myself back then, I thought it would be good to visit a place of education, when your attacked spiritually they attempt to deconstruct you and a place of education does the exact opposite.
So I returned to my old school and after walking around the grounds for some time, I sat down in the middle of the schools field, not long after that I saw the birds flying near me zigging and zagging, then a Jinn came and introduced himself as one of the faculty of maths Jinn. I had always been good at maths so it didn’t surprise me that they would say something, they wanted to show me how they influenced birds (and consequently children) so as I got up he asked me to look, and a number of small very fast birds began flying and encircling me completely, even as I walked across the field they encircled me like I was the centre of their world.
The Jinn asked me to pay attention again and soon the birds began flying in a sine and cosine waves weaving into and out of each other, up and down all the way around me, two sets of patterns intersecting each other. The Jinn used this to help centre my heart on these creatures while they were doing something complex, so I would be able to see such things in nature more easily, the bigger picture in the world, the meaning behind things.
Getting back to the book of Dua, their answer didn’t answer my question about what was behind this book, so I looked at it again more closely, and in the front cover was a story of its history that I had never read. This book was compiled by a great shaykh, or wali, of Sham (I think the city of Damascus) when it was being besieged by an enemy, seeking Allah’s intercession against this army (unfortunately I don’t remember its name).
The shaykh wrote the work and asked all the people of the city to recite it at the same time while it was being besieged, they continually recited the work until the siege was lifted and the enemy left. Since then Muslims have been reciting this book for protection and blessings and an entire spiritual history had developed around it which was known amongst the Jinn, this was the circle Allah put me in to help me against my enemies.
It was this work that opened the way for Allah’s creatures to help me recover, the voice I heard was one of the Jinn responsible for the ants on my property, every animal or creature has Jinn that look after them guiding them to survive, these are the best kind of jinn that exist and for whom Allah sends down the rain as a mercy because they still deserve it, while mankind has lost that mercy from Allah a long time ago.
Through them we see animals display advanced behaviour like they understand more than it is their capacity to understand, Allah mentions the Queen ant in the Quran talking to her colony asking them get out of the way of Sulayman’s army, what is meant here is the group of Jinn responsible for the Ants, they are the ones with higher intelligence.
The Queen ant in my property had sent Her leaders to talk to me, and eventually she would visit herself after they made certain it was safe for her to do so and explained how she would often help me recover from my enemies attacks, she was sincere and even apologised for not being able to do more for me, someone sent powerful shayateen which she and her people couldn’t handle (eventually I broke these devils but that is a story for another day).
They where among the first to open up, soon after the Queen of the bees in my area would visit and introduce herself, showing me were her colony was in the hills, then the spiders would talk more openly to me, I mentioned their storey before, a number of times they saved my life.
After them it was the birds, from simple local birds to bats showing me how they perceive the world, to eagles that had seen me on a trip later visiting me and asking me to look after one of their youth who was in the area, to an American bald eagle visiting in my dreams to protect me from his people’s fitnah out of a sense of duty, to an Australia Gaus Hawk humiliating an Australian that thought He was spiritually superior, there is a near white version of this hawk that is one of the most beautiful birds in this country, after studying them it was not long before i saw my first one who came to help.
Through the Baraka of this one book Allah helped guide and ease us into the world of ghayb, these where our first real spiritual openings.
Treat Allah’s creatures with kindness and they will return it, even if you don’t see.
