Personnel Notes

The following articles represent a mini biography, some are accounts of my spiritual Journey and portray the spiritual experiences Allah has given us, others are of matters Allah has asked us to take care of, among them you will find Allah’s wars against the dark forces destroying this world all of them are here to teach people what the spiritual path looks like especially from the perspective of high Saint.

Consider the following, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him. It was related by al-Bukhari. This is the reality of this Saint in the Bible, Allah gave the following metaphor in the bible, such are the reality of dreams and visions; “6 I watched as the Lamb (Jesus) opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures (Arch Angels) say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider (Saint) held a bow (Allah’s hand), and he was given a crown (Authority), and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest (against Allah’s enemies)”, the bow is a weapon that attacks from a distance, in reality the Saint is using Allah’s hand to conquer the world and fight the wars of Allah, this is the reality of Allah’s high Saints.

This world is nothing but realties competing against each other, and the war of the Saints is in the realm of realties, Understand, you do not see Allah with your eyes, you see Allah with your reality!

Imam Jalal Al Deen Rumi (q) said “Think not that there are no travelers on the road, or that those of perfect attribute leave no trace. Just because you are not privy to the secrets, Do you think that no one else is either?” Allah speaks about His elect people in the Quran and in Ahadith so then where are their words today if you can not imagine there are people who see spiritually and are guided after the last messenger was sent? in this regard the Prophet Muhammad (saws) said about the Jewish Ummah; “Among the nations before you there used to be people who were inspired (by the Angels, though they were not prophets). And if there is any of such a persons amongst my followers (today), it is ‘Umar,” and “Among the nation of Bani Israel who lived before you, there were men who used to be inspired with guidance (by the Angels) though they were not prophets, and if there is any of such persons amongst my followers (today), it is ‘Umar.” (Bukhari)

Here is an account from the life Hagar (as) the wife of Ibrahim (as), she was not a prophet but a saintly women, likewise in the Muslim Ummah there are saintly men: 7 Now the angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness (Zam Zam), by the spring on the way to Shur (In Makkah). 8 He said, “Hagar, Sarai’s maid, where have you come from and where are you going?” (Angels have no trouble speaking to normal people) And she said, “I am fleeing from the presence of my mistress Sarai.” 9 Then the angel of the Lord said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit yourself to her authority.” 10 Moreover, the angel of the Lord said to her, “I will greatly multiply your descendants so that they will be too many to count.” (Genesis 16:7-10)

If you have trouble with some of my words and experiences and are not used to hearing a person speak about the Mala’ikah (Angels) then read “Pure Gold from the Words of Sayyidi abd Al-aziz Al-Dabbagh: Al-Dhahab Al-Ibriz Min Kalam Sayyidi abd Al-aziz Al-Dabbagh by Ahmad B. Al-Mubarak Al-Lamati (Malfuzat)”, it is easier hearing this language first from a well known wali who was the Ghawth of his time, you will find this is the language of the awliyah, the language of people who have experience (Maarifah).

Rasul Allah (saws) was not a literate prophet, He (saws) could not read or write, likewise even though Imam Dabbagh (q) was raised among scholars and came from a scholarly family he deliberately chose not study with them, in our life even though we came from an educated background after Allah placed knowledge in our heart we read a small library worth of books and became a prolific reader, but when Allah wanted to elevate us spiritually He all but took away our ability to read on mass because the reader lives the life of the Author and his words, then goes on to say “according to so and so” through out his life. This blinds the person from looking at Allah and seeing the spirituality around Him, his mind is always referring back to what he read and its author for explanation all the while ignoring the understanding Allah is trying to put in his heart, in a sense to much reading can kill your intuition.

When Allah wants to elevate someone to wilaya they need to empty their cup so they can receive Allah’s inspiration, often Allah is the one guiding them to read something but that is only so when He wants to give them inspiration that knowledge always builds upon what came before it, Allah is not depriving them but evolving their understanding and increasing it, and so Rasul Allah (saws) was illiterate even though He (saws) had many opportunities to learn, all so that He (saws) could surpass all other Prophets by relying on Allah entirely, likewise Imam Dabbagh (q) understood this and deliberately chose a similar path in His (as) life, the result was that He could describe ghayb (the unseen world) better than almost anyone that came before him (q).

A warning regarding the book, the translation was done by Kufar who have no knowledge of the subject or science for that matter, only a grasp of the language, considering their first critique is a beginner’s mistake of not recognizing that things have roots and origin in the universe, not just Arabic words, their words show they are clearly enemies of Islam resorting to open insults of the wali in the book and the prophet Muhammad (saws) in passing.

“Around 1720 in Fez Aḥmad b. al-Mubārak al-Lamaṭī, a religious scholar, wrote down the words and teachings of the Sufi master ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Dabbāgh. Al-Dabbāgh shunned religious studies (he did not study with scholars) but, having reached illumination and met with the Prophet Muḥammad (saws) (like myself the Barzakh was removed from him by the prophet Muḥammad (saws)), he was able to explain any obscurities in the Qurʾān, ḥadīths and sayings of earlier Sufis. The resulting book, known as the Ibrīz, describes how al-Dabbāgh attained illumination (Spiritual sight) and access to the Prophet (saws), as well as his teachings about the Council of the godly (Awliyah) that regulates the world, relations between master and disciple, the darkness in men’s bodies, Adam’s creation, Barzakh, Paradise and Hell, and much more besides. This ‘encyclopaedia’ of Sufism with its many teaching stories and illustrations provides a window onto social life and religious ideas in Fez a generation or so before powerful outside forces began to play a role in the radical transformation of Morocco.”

Imam al Ghazali, Ibn Arabi and Jalaludeen Rumi (rah) wrote about the science behind spirituality and chose not talk about their experiences much, while the majority of my work is dedicated to the science behind spiritual experiences, my writings here, like the words of Imam Al Dabbagh, is dedicated to my life experiences.

Much later in life we took from Imam al Dabbagh (q) directly after Allah sent Him (q) to elevate us such is the way of the Awliyah, we never realized it until we first read his words in this book, but our writing and explanations closely resemble His speech and manner of teaching and like him we chose to talk about the Mala’ikah openly with others, such is the Sunnah of Rasul Allah (81:24), baraak Allah fihum, this is the way of all those who take from the prophet (saws) directly and not through intermediaries they are the ones who teach about the unseen best because all the veils have been removed and they have the clearest sight.

Sources that have been online for many years are the works of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Al Jilani (q) the founder of the Qadiri Tariqa (here), or the teachings of Shaykh Ahmad Al Rifai (q) the founder of the Rifai Tariqa (here), if you are not familiar with how the saints of Islam speak this is a good place to get familiar, but understand these subjects are the highest in Islam at a masters level.

The Prophet (saws) said “In the nations before you (among the Jews) were people who were spoken to (muhaddathun)”, this is the hadith of Ijtihad in Islam this si where it comes from, according to Ibn `Uyayna “spoken to” means “made to understand” (mufahhamun), while Ibn Wahb explained “spoken to” as meaning “inspired” (mulhamun) and this is the majority opinion, Ibn Hajar in Fath al-Bari adds “by the angels.”

Ijtihad has always been with the prophets and after them the saints, some people lessor than them earned it and people came to call them Mujtahid Imams, they rose to our ranks the Awliyah did not go to theirs.

Allah gave us our Silsila in the Naqshbandi Tariqah at the age of 20 we where one of the youngest in the Ummah to be given their own tariqah it is for this reason Rasul Allah (saws) characterised our path and life with the following words “acting with wisdom increases your wisdom, and that is the shortest path”. Around the age of 25 Allah entered us into the Shadhili tariqah of Abul Hassan (q), we took from that tariqah the path of Ijtihad found among the Awliyah and Ullumah it was the first thing Allah opened to us and we saw its way entirely, but we could not stay for long in the tariqah afterwards because the shaykh we took Baya from was not elevated enough to teach us so Allah caused us to leave after giving us what He wished. Ijtihad of the scholars is found in the Shadhili Tariqah because it focused on scholarship, while the Naqshbandi Tariqa focused on spirituality by contrast the Qadiri Tariqah is a middle path between the two while the Rifai Tariqah focused on realities.

Insha Allah we will teach you the Sir of Ijtihad as it was granted to us by Allah because Islam is being forgotten, soon after we entered the Shadhili path we had a spiritual experience while reading a book of the Tariqah, Allah elevated our spiritual sight so that we began to see the furuq, different shades of meanings of each word, when that settled upon our eye Allah then elevated it further so that we began to see the letters “arguing” with each other, we saw the furuq of each letter in each word, that is to know the significance of each letter in each word, this strength and capacity in a person is called Ijtihad in Islam it is to see the differences in the most subtle of things.

Later in life Allah elevated our sight again so that we could see the differences in the harakat of the Arabic letters and this is from wilaya and why the highest Mujtahid Imam’s in the Ummah surpassed everyone else, they where all Awliyah at the same time.

They saw deeper and they saw the deepest, Allah says about this in the Quran, and it is a path the Awliyah and Mujtahid Imams take to Allah:

“They know but the outer surface of this world’s life, whereas of the ultimate [repercussion of] things [in the universe] they are utterly unaware (except those Allah elevates).” [Qur’an 30:7]

“His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them [the subatomic]…What is secret [at the surface level] and what is more hidden [Akhfa, in the spiritual depths]” [Qur’an 20:6-7]

At Around the age of 30 Allah caused us to go into seclusion and spiritual training for the next decade, we emerged from that at the Age of 40 with the Maqam of Ghawth and complete spiritual sight, today Allah has Mastered our sight of Him and elevated us to Qutb.

“The Saints crossed an ocean whose shores the Jurists could only stand upon,” Rasul Allah (saws) said to us regarding the Saints, “You stood upon a shore and watched it disappear.”

This Is From Our Wilayah: “Nor is he miserly with (relating news of) the Unseen.” (81:24).
