The Book of Enoch

Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem Assalamu Alaikum, the book of Enoch has reached us as fragmented texts, this work has compiled all these texts into a single book for ease of reference, as translations go the earlier translation of the book of Enoch are far superior, the translator of this text is clearly atheist and struggles to add meaning to even the most basic of phrases wishing not to stir thought of miracles in the reader but instead promote his persuasion through neutrality, or neutral death of a subject, the reality is people of the Ancient world spoke what they meant and rarely with reserve because they lived and dies by their word, hence the translator has done this text an injustice.

When reading this text one has to keep in mind it has survived through the millennial as a Jewish and Christian text, so it has been translated and translated and translated according to their interpretation of the world, hence even if a story is true it is as they understood the original words, despite that you will see the wisdom of the Prophet Enoch (as) coming through and much of what He says is similar in phrasing and wisdom to the prophet Muhammad (saws).

CHAPTER I.

  1. The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect ⌈⌈and⌉⌉righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked ⌈⌈and godless⌉⌉are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said–Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, ⌈which⌉ the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. 3. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them:

The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4. And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai,
⌈And appear from His camp⌉
And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

  1. And all shall be smitten with fear
    And the Watchers shall quake,
And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.
  2. And the high mountains shall be shaken,
And the high hills shall be made low,
And shall melt like wax before the flame p. 32
  3. And the earth shall be ⌈wholly⌉rent in sunder,
And all that is upon the earth shall perish,
And there shall be a judgement upon all (men).
  4. But with the righteous He will make peace.

And will protect the elect,
And mercy shall be upon them.

And they shall all belong to God,
And they shall be prospered,
And they shall ⌈all⌉ be blessed.

⌈And He will help them all⌉,
And light shall appear unto them,
⌈And He will make peace with them⌉.

  1. And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of ⌈His⌉holy ones
    To execute judgement upon all,
    And to destroy ⌈all⌉the ungodly:

And to convict all flesh
Of all the works ⌈of their ungodliness⌉ which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners ⌈have spoken⌉ against Him.

CHAPTER II.

  1. Observe ye everything that takes place in the heaven, how they do not change their orbits, ⌈and⌉the luminaries which are in the heaven, how they all rise and set in order each in its season, and transgress not against their appointed order. 2. Behold ye the earth, and give heed to the things which take place upon it from first to last, ⌈how steadfastthey are⌉, how ⌈none of the things upon earth⌉ change, ⌈but⌉ all the works of God appear ⌈to you⌉. 3. Behold the summer and the winter, ⌈⌈how the whole earth is filled with water, and clouds and dew and rain lie upon it⌉⌉.

CHAPTER III.

Observe and see how (in the winter) all the trees ⌈⌈seem as though they had withered and shed all their leaves, except fourteen trees, which do not lose their foliage but retain the old foliage from two to three years till the new comes.

CHAPTER IV.

And again, observe ye the days of summer how the sun is above the earth over against it. And you seek shade and shelter by reason of the heat of the sun, and the earth also burns with growing heat, and so you cannot tread on the earth, or on a rock by reason of its heat.

CHAPTER V.

  1. Observe ⌈⌈ye⌉⌉how the trees cover themselves with green leaves and bear fruit: wherefore give ye heed ⌈and know⌉with regard to all ⌈His works⌉, and recognize how He that liveth for ever hath made them so.
  2. And ⌈all⌉His works go on ⌈thus⌉from year to year for ever, and all the tasks ⌈which⌉ they accomplish for Him, and ⌈their tasks⌉ change not, but according as ⌈⌈God⌉⌉ hath ordained so is it done.
  3. And behold how the sea and the rivers in like manner accomplish and ⌈change not⌉their tasks ⌈from His commandments⌉.
  4. But ye–ye have not been steadfast, nor done the commandments of the Lord,
But ye have turned away and spoken proud and hard words
With your impure mouths against His greatness.
Oh, ye hard-hearted, ye shall find no peace.
  5. Therefore shall ye execrate your days,
And the years of your life shall perish,
And ⌈the years of your destruction⌉shall be multiplied in eternal execration,
And ye shall find no mercy.

6a. In those days ye shall make your names an eternal execration unto all the righteous,
b. And by you shall ⌈all⌉ who curse, curse,
And all the sinners ⌈and godless⌉ shall imprecate by you,
7c. And for you the godless there shall be a curse.

6d. And all the . . . shall rejoice,
e. And there shall be forgiveness of sins,
f. And every mercy and peace and forbearance: p. 34
g. There shall be salvation unto them, a goodly light.

  1. i. And for all of you sinners there shall be no salvation,
jBut on you all shall abide a curse.
7a. But for the elect there shall be light and joy and peace,
    b. And they shall inherit the earth.

8 And then there shall be bestowed upon the elect wisdom,
And they shall all live and never again sin,
Either through ungodliness or through pride:
But they who are wise shall be humble.

9 And they shall not again transgress,
Nor shall they sin all the days of their life,
Nor shall they die of (the divine) anger or wrath,
But they shall complete the number of the days of their life.

And their lives shall be increased in peace,
And the years of their joy shall be multiplied,
In eternal gladness and peace,
All the days of their life.

CHAPTER VI.

  1. And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. 2. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.’ 3. And Semjâzâ, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.’ 4. And they all answered
  2. 35

him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.’ 5. Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. 6. And they were in all two hundred; who descended ⌈in the days⌉ of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. 7. And these are the names of their leaders: Sêmîazâz, their leader, Arâkîba, Râmêêl, Kôkabîêl, Tâmîêl, Râmîêl, Dânêl, Êzêqêêl, Barâqîjâl, Asâêl, Armârôs, Batârêl, Anânêl, Zaqîêl, Samsâpêêl, Satarêl, Tûrêl, Jômjâêl, Sariêl. 8. These are their chiefs of tens.

CHAPTER VII.

  1. And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. 2. And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: 3. Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, 4. the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. 5. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another’s flesh, and drink the blood. 6. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

CHAPTER VIII.

  1. And Azâzêl taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals〈of the earth〉and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. 2. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjâzâ taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, Armârôs the resolving of enchantments, Barâqîjâl,
  2. 36
[paragraph continues]

(taught) astrology, Kôkabêl the constellations, Ezêqêêl the knowledge of the clouds, 〈Araqiêl the signs of the earth, Shamsiêl the signs of the sun〉, and Sariêl the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . .

CHAPTER IX.

  1. And then Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel looked down from heaven and saw much blood being shed upon the earth, and all lawlessness being wrought upon the earth. 2. And they said one to another: ‘The earth made †without inhabitant cries the voice of their crying† up to the gates of heaven. 3 ⌈⌈And now to you, the holy ones of heaven⌉⌉, the souls of men make their suit, saying, “Bring our cause before the Most High.”.’ 4. And they said to the Lord of the ages: ‘Lord of lords, God of gods, King of kings, 〈and God of the ages〉, the throne of Thy glory (standeth) unto all the generations of the ages, and Thy name holy and glorious and blessed unto all the ages! 5. Thou hast made all things, and power over all things hast Thou: and all things are naked and open in Thy sight, and Thou seest all things, and nothing can hide itself from Thee. 6. Thou seest what Azâzêl hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the eternal secrets which were (preserved) in heaven, which men were striving to learn: 7. And Semjâzâ, to whom Thou hast given authority to bear rule over his associates. 8. And they have gone to the daughters of men upon the earth, and have slept with the women, and have defiled themselves, and revealed to them all kinds of sins. 9. And the women have borne giants, and the whole earth has thereby been filled with blood and unrighteousness. 10. And now, behold, the souls of those who have died are crying and making their suit to the gates of heaven, and their lamentations have ascended: and cannot ceasebecause of the lawless deeds which are wrought on the earth. 11. And Thou knowest all things before they come to pass, and
  2. 37
[paragraph continues]

Thou seest these things and Thou dost suffer them, and Thou dost not say to us what we are to do to them in regard to these.’

CHAPTER X.

  1. Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One spake, and sent Urielto the son of Lamech, and said to him: 2. ‘〈Go to Noah〉and tell him in my name “Hide thyself!” and reveal to him the end that is approaching: that the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is about to come upon the whole earth, and will destroy all that is on it. 3. And now instruct him that he may escape and his seed may be preserved for all the generations of the world.’ 4. And again the Lord said to Raphael: ‘Bind Azâzêl hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dûdâêl, and cast him therein. 5. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. 6. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the angels have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the secret things that the Watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons. 8. And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azâzêl: to him ascribe all sin.’ 9. And to Gabriel said the Lord: ‘Proceed against the bastards and the reprobates, and against the children of fornication: and destroy [the children of fornication and] the children of the Watchers from amongst men [and cause them to go forth]: send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in battle: for length of days shall they not have. 10. And no request that they (i.e. their fathers) make of thee shall be granted unto their fathers on their behalf; for they hope to live an eternal life, and that each one of them will live five hundred years.’ 11. And the Lord said unto Michael: ‘Go, bind Semjâzâ and
  2. 38

his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness. 12. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their consummation, till the judgement that is for ever and ever is consummated. 13. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: 〈and〉 to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever. And whosoever shall be condemned and destroyed will from thenceforth be bound together with them to the end of all generations. 15. And destroy all the spirits of the reprobate and the children of the Watchers, because they have wronged mankind. Destroy all wrong from the face of the earth and let every evil work come to an end: and let the plant of righteousness and truth appear: ⌈and it shall prove a blessing; the works of righteousness and truth⌉ shall be planted in truth and joy for evermore.

17 And then shall all the righteous escape,
And shall live till they beget thousands of children,
And all the days of their youth and their old age
Shall they complete in peace.

18 And then shall the whole earth be tilled in righteousness, and shall all be planted with trees and be full of blessing. 19. And all desirable trees shall be planted on it, and they shall plant vines on it: and the vine which they plant thereon shall yield wine in abundance, and as for all the seed which is sown thereon each measure (of it) shall bear a thousand, and each measure of olives shall yield ten presses of oil. 20. And cleanse thou the earth from all oppression, and from all unrighteousness, and from all sin, and from all godlessness: and all the uncleanness that is wrought upon the earth destroy from off the earth. 21. ⌈And all the children of men shall become righteous⌉, and all nations shall

  1. 39

offer adoration and shall praise Me, and all shall worship Me. And the earth shall be cleansed from all defilement, and from all sin, and from all punishment, and from all torment, and I will never again send (them) upon it from generation to generation and for ever.

CHAPTER XI.

  1. And in those days I will open the store chambers of blessing which are in the heaven, so as to send them down ⌈upon the earth⌉over the work and labour of the children of men. 2. And truth and peace shall be associated together throughout all the days of the world and throughout all the generations of men.’

CHAPTER XII.

  1. Before these things Enoch was hidden, and no one of the children of men knew where he was hidden, and where he abode, and what had become of him. 2. And his activities had to do with the Watchers, and his days were with the holy ones.
  2. And I, Enoch was blessing the Lord of majestyand the King of the ages, and lo! the Watchers called me–Enoch the scribe–and said to me: 4. ‘Enoch, thou scribe of righteousness, go, †declare† to the Watchers of the heaven who have left the high heaven, the holy eternal place, and have defiled themselves with women, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken unto themselves wives: “Ye have wrought great destruction on the earth: 5. And ye shall have no peace nor forgiveness of sin: and inasmuch as †they† delight themselves in †their† children, 6. The murder of †their† beloved ones shall †they† see, and over the destruction of †their† children shall †they† lament, and shall make supplication unto eternity, but mercy and peace shall ye not attain.”‘

CHAPTER XIII.

  1. And Enoch went and said: ‘Azâzêl,
  2. 40

thou shalt have no peace: a severe sentence has gone forth against thee to put thee in bonds: 2. And thou shalt not have toleration nor †request† granted to thee, because of the unrighteousness which thou hast taught, and because of all the works of godlessness and unrighteousness and sin which thou hast shown to men.’ 3. Then I went and spoke to them all together, and they were all afraid, and fear and trembling seized them. 4. And they besought me to draw up a petition for them that they might find forgiveness, and to read their petition in the presence of the Lord of heaven. 5. For from thenceforward they could not speak (with Him) nor lift up their eyes to heaven for shame of their sins for which they had been condemned. 6. Then I wrote out their petition, and the prayer in regard to their spirits and their deeds individually and in regard to their requests that they should have forgiveness and length 〈of days〉†. 7. And I went off and sat down at the waters of Dan, in the land of Dan, to the south of the west of Hermon: I read their petition till I fell asleep. 8. And behold a dream came to me, and visions fell down upon me, and I saw visions of chastisement, ⌈and a voice came bidding (me)⌉ I to tell it to the sons of heaven, and reprimand them. 9. And when I awaked, I came unto them, and they were all sitting gathered together, weeping in ’Abelsjâîl, which is between Lebanon and Sênêsêr, with their faces covered. 10. And I recounted before them all the visions which I had seen in sleep, and I began to speak the words of righteousness, and to reprimand the heavenly Watchers.

CHAPTER XIV.

  1. The book of the words of righteousness, and of the reprimand of the eternal Watchers in accordance with the command of the Holy Great One in that vision. 2. I saw in my sleep what I will now say with a tongue of flesh and with the breath of my mouth: which the Great One has given to men to converse therewith and understand with the heart. 3. As He has created and given ⌈⌈to man
  2. 41

the power of understanding the word of wisdom, so hath He created me also and given⌉⌉ me the power of reprimanding the Watchers, the children of heaven. 4. I wrote out your petition, and in my vision it appeared thus, that your petition will not be granted unto you ⌈⌈throughout all the days of eternity, and that judgement has been finally passed upon you: yea (your petition) will not be granted unto you⌉⌉. 5. And from henceforth you shall not ascend into heaven unto all eternity, and ⌈in bonds⌉ of the earth the decree has gone forth to bind you for all the days of the world. 6. And (that) previously you shall have seen the destruction of your beloved sons and ye shall have no pleasure in them, but they shall fall before you by the sword. 7. And your petition on their behalf shall not be granted, nor yet on your own: even though you weep and pray and speak all the words contained in the writing which I have written. 8. And the vision was shown to me thus: Behold, in the vision clouds invited me and a mist summoned me, and the course of the stars and the lightnings sped and hastened me, and the winds in the vision caused me to fly and lifted me upward, and bore me into heaven. 9. And I went in till I drew nigh to a wall which is built of crystals and surrounded by tongues of fire: and it began to affright me. And I went into the tongues of fire and drew nigh to a large house which was built of crystals: and the walls of the house were like a tesselated floor (made) of crystals, and its groundwork was of crystal. 11. Its ceiling was like the path of the stars and the lightnings, and between them were fiery cherubim, and their heaven was (clear as) water. 12. A flaming fire surrounded the walls, and its portals blazed with fire. 13. And I entered into that house, and it was hot as fire and cold as ice: there were no delights of life therein: fear covered me, and trembling got hold upon me. 14. And as I quaked and trembled, I fell upon my face. 15. And I beheld a vision, And lo! there was a second house, greater than the former,

  1. 42

and the entire portal stood open before me, and it was built of flames of fire. 16. And in every respect it so excelled in splendour and magnificence and extent that I cannot describe to you its splendour and its extent. 17. And its floor was of fire, and above it were lightnings and the path of the stars, and its ceiling also was flaming fire. 18. And I looked and saw ⌈⌈therein⌉⌉ a lofty throne: its appearance was as crystal, and the wheels thereof as the shining sun, and there was the vision of cherubim. 19. And from underneath the throne came streams of flaming fire so that I could not look thereon. 20. And the Great Glory sat thereon, and His raiment shone more brightly than the sun and was whiter than any snow. 21. None of the angels could enter and could behold His face by reason of the magnificence and glory and no flesh could behold Him. 22. The flaming fire was round about Him, and a great fire stood before Him, and none around could draw nigh Him: ten thousand times ten thousand (stood) before Him, yet He needed no counselor. 23. And the most holy ones who were nigh to Him did not leave by night nor depart from Him. 24. And until then I had been prostrate on my face, trembling: and the Lord called me with His own mouth, and said to me: ‘Come hither, Enoch, and hear my word.’ 25. ⌈And one of the holy ones came to me and waked me⌉, and He made me rise up and approach the door: and I bowed my face downwards.

CHAPTER XV.

  1. And He answered and said to me, and I heard His voice: ‘Fear not, Enoch, thou righteous man and scribe of righteousness: approach hither and hear my voice. 2. And go, say to ⌈⌈the Watchers of heaven⌉⌉, who have sent thee to intercede ⌈⌈for them: “You should intercede”⌉⌉for men, and not men for you: 3. Wherefore have ye left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and lain with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives, and done like the children of earth, and begotten giants (as your) sons? 4. And
  2. 43

though ye were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have begotten (children) with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood as those ⌈also⌉ do who die and perish. 5. Therefore have I given them wives also that they might impregnate them, and beget children by them, that thus nothing might be wanting to them on earth. 6. But you were ⌈formerly⌉ spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world. 7. And therefore I have not appointed wives for you; for as for the spiritual ones of the heaven, in heaven is their dwelling. 8. And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling. 9. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men, ⌈⌈and⌉⌉ from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; ⌈they shall be evil spirits on earth, and⌉ evil spirits shall they be called. [10. As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.] 11. And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, ⌈but nevertheless hunger⌉ and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded ⌈from them⌉.

CHAPTER XVI.

1. From the days of the slaughter and destruction and death of the giants, from the souls of whose flesh the spirits, having gone forth, shall destroy without incurring judgement–thus shall they destroy until the day of the consummation, the great judgement in which the age shall be consummated, over the Watchers and the godless, yea, shall be wholly consummated.” 2. And now as to the Watchers who have sent thee to intercede for them, who had been ⌈⌈aforetime⌉⌉ in heaven, (say to

p. 44

them): “You have been in heaven, but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you have made known to the women, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth.” 4. Say to them therefore: “You have no peace.”‘

The Prophet Idris (as) In History Pt.2

Idris’s (as) Identity Through History

Hermes Trismegistus, who Islamic scholars wrote was Idris (as), came to be the Greek god Hermes and the Egyptian god Thoth, later like all Egyptian historical figures he was deified by the Egyptians and everything Allah granted to Idris (as) like being the first to invent writing was attributed to him.

“Thoth’s chief temple was located in the city of Ancient Egyptian “Khemenu”, which was known as Hermou polis “The City of Hermes.”

“Thoth’s roles in Egyptian mythology were many. He served as scribe of the gods, credited with the invention of writing, He was the master of both physical and moral (divine) law, He is credited with making the calculations for the establishment of the heavens, stars, Earth (the calendar and calculations of movement of the celestial bodies), and everything in them.”

“The Egyptians credited him as the author of all works of science, religion, philosophy, and magic. The Greeks further declared him the inventor of astronomy, astrology, the science of numbers, mathematics, geometry, surveying, medicine, botany, theology, civilized government, the alphabet, reading, writing, and oratory.”

Rasul Allah was the opener of knowledge for the modern world, He (saws) was taken on a miraj of the heavens and was shown Allah’s greatest signs, sciences, He (saws) then said “I was given the keys to all things.” Idris (as) was similarly taken on a miraj of the universe and taught about all things in it, to the Ancient man who first appeared on earth Idris (as) was the opener of knowledge for all ancient civilisations, in fact it was in His time the first cities began to be built by his people, as Imam Tabari records.

Since the Greeks took their religion from the Egyptians and the fact Thoth lived after the flood of Noah (as) we know these two figures in history, the Egyptian and Greek gods are not Idris (as).

Thoth was the first priest of Egypt they “claimed he was the true author of every work of every branch of knowledge, human and divine.”

“The Egyptians stored many texts, on a wide range of subjects, in “Houses of Life”, the libraries contained within temple complexes. Many of these texts were said to be his work. The Egyptian historian Manetho said that Thoth wrote 36,525 books.” (short works a few pages long).

“Translation from Egyptian language and concepts to Greek language and concepts was not entirely accurate and some of the Egyptian authenticity was lost. Among the subjects they cover are hymns, rituals, temple construction, astrology, geography, and medicine.”

When we say Atlantian we do not intend the high fantasy account people have come to believe but the primitive civilisation at the dawn of man that was more advanced than others at the time because they followed the teachings of Idris (as), some of which we quoted earlier in this work most of which made it to Egypt, it gave them an understanding of the universe that allowed them to manipulate its forces well enough to challenge a Musa (as) and what Allah gave him (as) which is mentioned in the Quran.

History became legend and Legend became myth, this could not be truer than the fact the Greeks took the history and knowledge of the Egyptians and began to deify the rulers of Atlantis such Poseidon their first ruler and Atlas after who the land is named (Atlantis = the land of Atlas).

Greek society degenerated so much they eventually began to deify their own rulers, it no longer mattered to them who they prostrated to, each city state had its own god king, these are the people the Romans took this tradition from as they conquered them, most famously seen in the deification of Caesar after his death, it is not surprising that not long after this the next in line to be deified and the last among the Roman people was Jesus (as).

“No knowledge whatever have they of Him, and neither had their forefathers: dreadful -is this “axiom” that comes out of their mouths, [and] nothing but falsehood do they utter!” (18:5)

The first ruler of the Mauritanian people was called Atlas, I think that alone takes all the fantasy and myth away from it, this is also an Islamic land which historically just of their coast is where scholars searched for this submerged portion of their land that the city was located upon.

The Egyptian people are known to be fabricators of religion for their own gains, seen most famously in the story of Musa (as) and Pharaoh, and in their rulers habitually deifying themselves one after the other each trying to outdo the former to prove himself to his people.

Hence you find ancient truth mixed in with their lies to promote themselves in the eyes of the public. Their society contains such remarkable truths because its origins are the prophets of Allah.

Many parts of the Quran speak about knowledge that Allah gave to previous prophets, Allah also mentions some of the knowledge He gave to Idris (as), alluding to the height of the subjects understanding by using a word for subatomic space from the language of the Egyptian people who first mastered this subject among all the ancient civilisations.

Remember before the flood Idris (as) migrated with His (as) people from Iraq to Egypt and settled there and among the many ancient works that mention subatomic space the picture with the Egyptian people is the most complete we have seen after the words of the prophets.

This should not surprise people since they where masters of the occult studying and developing new methods in it, sihr is just the manipulation of subatomic space, its particles and forces, hence they had clear cause to develop their ideas and understanding, Allah mentions their efforts in the Quran in the story of Musa (as).

It is in this respect that I think the figure of Thoth and his works are related to Idris (as), using the knowledge of the prophet (as) who lived long before Him by at least 1600 years, which is the time between Idris (as) and the event of the flood in Noah’s life (as).

Idris (as) was known as Hermes which means “boundary marker” and people dedicated them to Hermes the greek god of travellers, (spiritual seekers).”

Compare Thoth’s words with those of Idris (as) and you will find the words of Thoth are filled with self-interest and promotion, Thoth in his works which scholars claim are later fabrications speaks like an Egyptian Pharaoh while Hermes, seen in his work above, speaks like a Prophet.

The Egyptians often displayed the knowledge they gained from Idris (as) in their understanding of the universe, speaking about things like the primordial water mentioned in the Quran, and Nun (space) mentioned in surah Al Qalam (68), a term for space that is taken directly from the Ancient Egyptian language by Allah who sometimes used words from another language to tie a subject to that origin, although rare (the Prophet (saws) describes what Nun is in ahadith and Egyptian texts are the only place space is called Nun in the same manner also mentioning the primordial waters).

Here is one famous example of the word being used, Egyptians used to invoke the power god into themselves, a kind of tabaruk, with the following words:

“I am one with Atum (god) when he still floated alone in Nun (subatomic space), the waters of chaos (the primordial water, Allah placed his throne above the water), before any of his strength had gone into creating the cosmos (Universe). I am Atum (god) at his most inexhaustible – the potence and potential of all that is to be. This is my magic protection (for people) and its (origin is) older and greater than all the (lessor) gods (other Pharaohs) together!” (They were trying to empower themselves with Baraka like the prophets so they could protect their people, this passage is taken from the Egyptian Book of The Dead).

The Egyptians understood the universe was created by the same power behind magic, they did not mean sihr here, this is their way of labelling subatomic forces in their tongue which are responsible for all sihr and baraka alike as well as everything in the universe, Idris (as) explains this in the emerald tablet we quoted above:

“Its (subatomic) force is above all (physical) force. For it vanquishes every subtle thing (subatomic particle, Allah uses the same word Latif in the Quran for everything subatomic) & penetrates every solid thing (subatomic forces manipulate subatomic particles and these particles and forces pass through all solid objects).”

“So was the world created (from this).”

“From this are & do come admirable adaptations (all things, good, evil, sihr, baraka, life etc).”

These words of Idris (as) are among the highest words spoken by man; “Its force is above all force. For it vanquishes every subtle thing & penetrates every solid thing”, the prophet (as) understood Allah gave Him (as) light and here He (as) is describing its nature from what He (as) saw in it.

The reality of these words is a description of the prophetic light He (as) was given to see things by. The light of prophethood is a special light that encompasses the complete reality of what it is shining upon. This is because Allah created the universe and all things in it from the light (particles) of prophethood so it among all lights (particles) has the ability to penetrate all things to the stuff they are created from and see their complete picture (the reality of its existence) and give the prophet knowledge regarding them.

The prophet (saws) said “O Jabir, the first thing Allah created was the light of your Prophet from His light (His face, this second statement is metaphor).”

The prophet (saws) said through metaphors desert Arabs could understand: “Allah created Nun (outer most part of subatomic space) above the waters (the subatomic depths), and He pressed the earth into its back” (waters here is a simile for a deep ocean of particles, not the primordial water because Nun is singled out and the primordial waters is a region near the Arsh).

The earth literally bends the matter of space around it and this is how the earth is “pressed” into space concentrating the force of gravity with its Mass until gravity accelerates objects on earth at 9.81 m/s to its centre. We know water here refers to subatomic depth rather than the primordial water because Rasul Allah (saws) uses multiple analogies to explain the universe to desert Arabs, in another Hadith He (saws) explains the earth in term of a fish swimming in an ocean (space) so they can understand what space looks like.

One of the companions of the prophet (saws) explained the prophet’s words, Ibn Abbas (as) said, “Indeed the earths (planets of space) are on the back of a fish (floating/swimming), and the fish is in the sea” (space).

If you know that the person in front of you is speaking in metaphor you clearly know he does not mean an actual fish, the Arabs where master poets, this is the kind of context in ahadith we lost through history, Ibn Abbas (ra) was a Mufasir of the Quran.

Ibn Abbas (as) said the prophet (saws) said, (regarding the first stages of creation before even subatomic space was created) “… Allah then lifted up the water vapour (primordial water, waters of chaos in the Egyptian text, the sea of first particles to exist) and split the heavens off from it (this means subatomic space was created from the first particles, it is talking about the first expansion of the universe when its shape was being created). Then Allah created the fish (Nun, outer space) and the earth was spread out (placed) upon it’s back. The Fish became agitated (the force of gravity was increased because of Earths Mass and applied pressure upon the planet) with the result that the earth was shaken up (had earth quacks when it first formed). It was steadied by means of mountains (which formed), for they indeed proudly (tower) over the earth. (Some types of mountains act as pegs in the earth’s crust stabilising it). Ibn Abbas then recited “Nun by the pen and what they write” (68:1), (History of Tabari vol.1).

This is one of the secrets of Tafsir, Allah used the Egyptian word Nun for subatomic space because Allah’s words are elevated above all words and this was the most elevated use of the word in existence by the time of the Quran’s revelation.

In order to connect His reality and words with us Allah used the most elevated and spiritually relevant words that can reach us, this is one of the reasons why Allah chooses specific subjects, people and language in the Quran, another is because that person or event being mentioned reached the zenith of that subject in either Ihsan or fitnah.

The words and knowledge of Allah are not created but clearly the subjects in the Quran are, so there is a hierarchy that exists in the Quran regarding the origin of its subjects and why they are included above all others, the use of the word Nun from the Egyptian people establishes their superiority in this subject.

Another secret of Tafsir is the fact everything Allah mentions in the Quran takes spiritual priority over the rest of creation because these are His words that have been with Him from eternity, Allah’s knowledge neither increase or decreases, therefor whatever is in the Quran takes precedent in its primacy over everything else.

We are experiencing the Time that He knows is going to occur, Allah is allowing the life He knows to play out, that includes the events He knows will change peoples fate, His knowledge of the outcome is not fate, fate is what is decided based upon the laws of the universe so the two are removed from affecting each other, and Allah has written in the Universe that Dua (prayer) can change fate.

What Allah is doing is not allowing an endless loop of hypothetical events to exist because that is chaos, He stops what can exist at outcomes based upon your actions and gives you a real chance to decide your future or change what He knows of you based on the laws of the universe, He does not entertain hypothetical events that have no “literal” impact on Haq (fairness and reality) if you want something to exist work for it and that is reality and your fate.

This is why Allah has made Himself seem removed from your life so there is a separation between His knowledge of outcomes and your freedom in the sandbox you live in. With the presence of Allah in your life their responsibility to His reality, we see this in the lives of the prophets and saints (as).

The reality of Allah is that He is closer to you than your own Jugular vein but you are not aware of it: “And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein.” (50:16)

The prophet Idris (as) was the first-person Allah took on a Miraj of the universe and explained to Him (as) the role of everything celestial.

Before Idris (as) man did not have any concept of outer space, its expanse, let alone the objects in it, they did not even have the language to describe it, the prophet Idris (as) was the first to described space when he spoke about it and black holes in The Book Of Enoch which are his teachings to his son:

Idris (as) said “A place beyond the great earth where the heavens come together (come together means there is no separation of man’s view, like between our sky and space, the heavens are endless here), and I saw a deep pit (the black hole) with heavenly fire on its pillars (when a black hole swallows a star it creates Jets of “fire” or energy from the breakup of atoms like huge pillars much greater than the black hole in size, on each side of it, there are many images of this) and i saw inside them descending pillars of fire (jets on both sides) that where immeasurable in respect of altitude and depth, on top of that pit (in the background) i saw a place without the heavenly firmament above it or earthly foundation under it (endless space), or water (ocean), there was nothing on it not even birds but it was a desolate and terrible place and i saw there the seven stars which were like great burning mountains (encircling it, trapped, about to enter the black hole) then the Angels said to me this place is the ultimate end of heaven and earth it is the prison house for the stars (a description of stars being trapped, the force is a prison) and the powers of heaven and the stars which role over upon the fire (fall into it) they are the ones which have transgressed the commandments of God from the beginning of their rising (they followed a wrong trajectory in space destined to doom them in the black hole from the beginning of the Universe) because they did not arrive punctually (they followed a delayed path) and He was wrath with them and He bound them until the time of the completion of their sin (fault) in the year of mystery (an unknown number of years ago).”

This is space being described in the language of people before the flood of Nuh (as), after Idris (as) passed away and after He (as) taught the world the role and power of the celestial bodies people came to worship them as gods through their own degenerate philosophies.

Another work attributed to Idris (as) is the famous Corpus Hermeticum which dates to the 3rd century AD Egypt that is Egypt 300 years after Jesus and around the same time the modern bible was being compiled by the Romans who had just converted to Christianity.

There is no doubt this is not the work of Idris (as) because the author does not speak like a prophet which we see clearly from The Book Of Enoch in which the language of Enoch and the prayers there in are almost identical to the language and prayers of the prophet Muhammad (saws) whose language and prayers also mimic those of Musa (as) and other prophets, this is because they were all taught similar things the same God.

But this work, at length does contain the words of god directly, like a hadith Qudsi but the language is of a man explaining things and justifying them with logic like the Greeks which is not the way of prophets, this is because it relies on actual revelation from elsewhere.

There is overall value in the work because it explains the Egyptian understanding of the universe (which translators of Hieroglyphs have failed to grasp since none of them are physicists or cosmologists), and because of their sources are accurate to anyone who understands physics and what the universe is made of.

This is rather the work of a priest of Egypt in the same vein as priests before him, most likely mixing Christian doctrine, which had become famous by now, with Egyptian doctrine and with the words of Idris, from the Book Of Enoch as well as Egyptian sources.

You will find like in the book of Enoch this work too is addressed to Enoch’s son and contains similar subjects, which most likely survived amongst these people, this is why the work contains some powerful truths such as the following about the nature of Allah not being made of any substance, a statement unique to Islam and the prophets of Allah;

“If, then, space be some godlike thing, it is substantial; but if ’tis God [Himself], it transcends substance. But it is to be thought of (as) otherwise [than God], and in this way (space is made of substance).

God is first “thinkable” for us, not for Himself (we don’t see Allah the way He sees Himself), for that the thing that’s thought (bound by man’s capacity) doth fall beneath the thinker’s sense (imagination and its limits). God then cannot be “thinkable” unto Himself (limited by the act of thinking because it relies on the physiology that creates it), in that He’s thought of by Himself as being nothing else but what He thinks (the limits of thought and its nature). But he is “something else” for us, and so He’s thought of (considered / calculated / measured) by us.” (Man requires the intellect to know, but Allah already knows and does not need to go through a process of thought to know, so the act of thinking is something for created things and not Allah).

“Naught is as His likeness; and He is the Hearer, the Seer.” (42:11) “nothing” also means in what makes humans work, that includes the way they think Allah does not need the process of thought to arrive at answers this is the nature of not needing time to exist.

Because of how “god” addresses Himself in this work it is the reason why it cannot be the work of a prophet, rather it is the work of someone highly developed in his understanding taking from multiple sources and expounding his understanding of them, consider the time period and that greek logic did not exist until after the Greeks. It is a work that relies on the knowledge of prophets who first understood these things and spoke about them, Islam is filled with such statements, which the mind cannot arrive at through philosophy and imagination but Maarifah (experience) of the subject of Allah, which only the pure can understand;

“In a Book well-guarded, None can grasp it except those pure.” (56:78-79)

The first chapter of the work is supposedly god speaking to Idris (as) (this author rather), its fabrication is obvious from the language and use of imagination to fill a story it is written by a person familiar with Jinn who is describing that experience and disguising it as prophecy rather than a prophet being guided by an Angel which is entirely another thing, in the second chapter which the above passage comes from, and is clearly copied from elsewhere since the language changes, it is Idris (as) teaching another person His (as) wisdom is clear and stands out.

In The Book Of Enoch it was the Angels that primarily taught Idris (as) about the universe not Allah, a distinction all of these priests failed to make when compiling their fabrications, so they inserted dialogues between Idris (as) and God, and what their minds conceived made clear their fabrication since they fell short of the words of God.

The Corpus Hermeticus reads like a tafsir of a subject, a secondary work, and not a primary one, which is why you see excessive scientific explanations to justify points and formulas of logic closer to greek arguments that did not exist in the time of Idris (before 10,000BC) whose language in the Book of Enoch is pure and simple by contrast because that was the state of man back then.

Language from the time of Adam (as) first had simplicity and depth, as time passed understanding of that depth was lost so complex arguments arose to prove the existence of that depth, we see this in the Book of Enoch which clearly dates back to that period, less the mistakes of translators.

Just as the later priests of Egypt manufactured the Corpus Hermeticum to compete with the new religion of Christianity its language and arguments dating to this period, if the story is to be believed the first priest of Egypt Thoth who is often confused with Hermes, began this sunnah of compiling “holy works”, he manufactured His works by combining knowledge from various sources, when He finally educated the “primitive natives” and established the Egyptian civilisation they began to see through his deception, eventually like any ruler loosing grip on his people with no hope of re-establishing it, He decided to simply leave them and never return, such was his recorded fate.

We know He used religion for power and to inspire awe because He claimed to be 16,000 years old, no doubt after He began to age among the people he now ruled with these lies, He could not find another lie to explain his aging, so He left.

What Is Allah? Answered by Rasul Allah (saws)

Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem, Assalamu Alaikum.

Rasul Allah (saws) taught us the answer to this question, before reading it though don’t look at it from your perspective, look at it as “this is how He (saws) saw Allah” and you will arrive at the right perception.

The answer He (saws) gave to us was simple but it was after something deep occurred in our life and was a tafsir of that event, He (saws) said; “Allah is what man can achieve with Him.”

This is what He is! it is referring to time and qadr (What He fates you) over time, and the hadith Qudsi where Allah says “I am Time”, “Dahr”, I am the span of time, meaning Allah’s complete picture is known by what He decrees or does over the span of time of the universe, and from what man can achieve with Him in his lifetime, what each person is given by Allah tells you who Allah is.

What you have to consider though is that only a person who is actively working to be conscious of Allah can see this, because Allah is giving all the time but most people are heedless of what He is doing, so Allah’s actions go unnoticed, it is not because they can not be noticed.

Only someone like a wali (saint) who frees himself from attachments (Zuhd) that engage your perception all the time, can define this properly because Allah gives to people according to what is happening in their lives and only they see their lives with clarity, “He Who Knows Himself Knows His Lord”, no only really sees other people’s complete perspectives on events, you only see yours, so when Allah is giving to you no one else can really see it only you if you are paying attention and looking for it.

That is why only the saintly notice Allah while those with evil in them don’t really care to notice so they go for 40 or more years in life wondering if it is real and what are these people talking about.

Why You Can’t Destroy The World and Rebuild It

Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem, Asslamu Alaikum.

What we are about to explain was to taught to us by Allah and His prophet (saws) over time, it took us a number of years to see its wisdom and reality in the world.

Spiritual strength comes from one thing Lineage, but that word does not just exist in one respect, ancestry, it exists in another primary way, education, in this respect lineage in education is called silsila and Ijaza.

The scholars have always said your teacher is your second father and who your teachers teacher was is your lineage.

All of this speaks to a spiritual reality that exists in the universe, spiritual connections, we make spiritual connections with things every second, but some are stronger and more influential than others and the strongest spiritual connections have to do with heritage and lineage.

Physics is studying this reality by a different name called quantum entanglement, or how the particles of the universe are entangled with each other to form an influence in the universe that shapes its evolution into the future, they envision that all particles are entangled like giant web that creates varying densities of force that shape the path of energy in the universe from its building blocks to this world, the spiritual connections that man makes are part of that picture and the same thing by an ancient name.

When you destroy culture and heritage you are destroying the strength of a people, their spiritual strength and their mental capacity, when you do that you are now starting at year one on earth for man and everything man achieved previously has been reduced to nothing.

The west has this idea of Tabula Rasa which they stole from Islam, it was a thought experiment, a hypothetical question which they became obsessed with, a person after birth cannot un-experience what they have already experienced that will always be with you, so rather you are adding to his baggage that he will have to carry in life.

Hence physics tells us Tabula Rasa is a fallacy because you do not come into this world a clean slate, you come into this world with all the entanglement the matter of your body formed before your birth over the 13 or so billion year history of the universe, and just like physics says that entanglement will shape the evolution of the universe it will shape the fate of your life.

“By the heaven (spiritual) full of paths,” (51:7)

Here is an example of it in religion: the Prophet Muhammad (saws) said “Indeed Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, created His creation in darkness, then He cast His noor (light) upon them (at the beginning of the universe), so whoever is touched by that noor he is guided (through time), and whoever it missed, he goes astray. It is for this reason that I say that the pens have dried with Allah’s knowledge.” [Jami’ at Tirmidhi n°2642]

Just because you destroy the world that does not mean you have got rid of its fate, your 70 or so years of life on this earth will not wipe away the 13 or so billion years that have already gone past, what you have done is rather made the world face it with less than it had before, made life on earth more difficult for yourself and the rest of mankind.

Allah is the span of time, He brought forward in this universe nations that would do His work and destroyed those who did not, first the Jews and when they failed He brought forward the Christians and when they failed He brought forward the Muslims, who would suffice doing the work of fate, of spiritual entanglement with Allah’s light until the hour.

“They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths (words), but Allah will not allow but that His light should be perfected (in the world, with the work of the Muslims), even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).” (9:32)

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Allah said, “The offspring of Adam abuse the Dahr (the Span of Time), and I am the Dahr (My Reality is known by seeing the span of time); in My Hands are the night and the day (change in the universe).” !” (Bukhari)

Abu Musa (ra) said, the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said: “The example of Muslims, Jews and Christians is like the example of a man who employed labourers to work for him from morning till night for specific wages. They worked till midday and then said, ‘We do not need your money which you have fixed for us and let whatever we have done be annulled.’ The man said to them, ‘Don’t quit the work, but complete the rest of it and take your full wages.’ But they refused and went away. The man employed another batch after them and said to them, ‘Complete the rest of the day and yours will be the wages I had fixed for the first batch.’ So, they worked till the time of `Asr prayer. Then they said, “Let what we have done be annulled and keep the wages you have promised us for yourself.’ The man said to them, ‘Complete the rest of the work, as only a little of the day remains,’ but they refused. Thereafter he employed another batch to work for the rest of the day and they worked for the rest of the day till the sunset, and they received the wages of the two former batches. So, that was the example of those people (Muslims) and the example of this light (guidance) which they have accepted willingly.” (Bukhari)

The first generation of Muslims where enough to ensure the fate of the rest of mankind until the end of time that is why Allah revealed He perfected His light on earth, through them and He completed His way through them;

“This day I have perfected for you your way of life and completed My (spiritual) favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion.” (5:3)

Just like the Pen is dry with the fate of all things the Muslims did the work to ensure that fate occurred long before we were born, we only decide what our story is within that picture we can’t change the larger picture itself.

The universe is a picture of opposing forces one dominating the other this is the fate that quantum entanglement formed and ensured from the beginning of time, this is the meaning of what the pen recorded, it is the reason why evil can’t win even if it removes religion from the earth.

This is the reason why after two wold wars that did exactly this the world now looks like it is at square one and the strength of man has gone.

What Is Allah’s Reality

Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem, Assalamu alaikum.

I received this simple answer from the prophets (as), if a person makes a dua saying something general like Rabi Authi Bika min Kulli fitnah bi Khal’ak, Ya Allah I seek refuge in you from every trouble in your creation, while you are speaking Allah is the one who defines what all the troubles are in His creation so your dua can have an effect on everything you intended in it.

Allah is the one who defines what things are as people act, speak and live, as all life lives, and so life impacts the universe through Allah, here is how it works in scientific terms:

In a Hadith found in Bukhari Rasul Allah (saws) said “Kursiyuhu Ilmuhu”, His Kursi (Footstool) is His knowledge, while in the Quran Allah says “wasi’ah Kursiyuhu al Samawati wal Ardh” (2:255), His kursi extends over the heavens and the earth”. From this and many other verse in the Quran as well as many Ahadith it becomes clear His Kursi is responsible for the existence of knowledge in All things, that is, the knowledge regarding how they should be created and how they should live.

The existence all kinds of knowledge in the universe especially because He further explains in the Quran that His knowledge (Kursi) surrounds all things in it including us, all these things are statements of science and physics;

“It is Allah who has created seven heavens (solar system, galaxies, seven expansive regions of space) and of the earth, the like of them (the other planets in the universe). [His] command (Laws of physics) descends between them (from subatomic space down to earth) so you may know that Allah is Able to do all things (subatomic space controls all things and He controls it) and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge (His Kursi).” (65:12)

It is also clear from Ahadith that the Kursi is one of the seven regions or depth of subatomic space just before the deepest one, the Arsh; understanding Physics, what things are responsible for what in the universe, like the electromagnetic field is responsible for electricity, magnetism, light, life why every object has boundaries and does not just pass through each other or why black holes are not everywhere, it becomes clear that the Kursi is responsible for quantum entanglement (why and how all particles interact with each other, think how biology, chemistry and physics exist) which fulfills all the roles Allah describes the Kursi fulfills, Ahl Al Ghayb have affirmed our understanding of this many times over the years including Rasul Allah (saws) who said it is exactly as you understood, He (saws) then showed it to us so we had al yaqeen (certainty).

The point of understanding this is to understand that when Allah says in the Quran He istawa the Arsh, established Himself on the Arsh it means He established His reality in the universe after creating it in the Arsh in order to control it from here, this intention is mentioned literally in the Quran.

It does not mean part of Him is in creation but the Arsh mimics His reality, is an Image of it like man was created in His image, it does the same things as Him and so we see from this as the scholars said, “man is a copy (image) of the universe”, because in reality the universe is an image of Allah’s reality (Arsh) and knowledge (Kursi and everything it created), this is the meaning of the Hadith Qudsi where Allah says “I am Time (Dahr, the passing of time)”, or rather I am known by seeing the complete passing of time.

This role was given to the Angels to witness because of their age and to pass on its wisdom to man and Allah’s other creatures who would complete the picture for them and increase all things further in knowledge from their life experiences.

That is how all things come to know each other by familiarity by associating things in the world to what we understand about our self, this is the meaning of the hadith “He who knows Himself Knows his Lord.”,

When you understand that and subatomic space is the ghayb Allah is answering you from when you pray who he gives you things, then you understand why Allah says in the Quran ‘He is closer to you than your jugular vein’, because subatomic space all of it is contained within the space of a single atom, from here to the Arsh and it is everywhere.

“And indeed We have created man (know the process of His creation), and We know what his ownself whispers to him (we know everything inwardly). And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein” (50:16)

So when Allah answers your dua, defining “what are all the fitnah’s in the universe” at the same time you are intending it, He is creating action in the universe from the Arsh to every fitnah in the universe and to you.

From this you can understand what Allah means by; “His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them [the subatomic]…What is secret [hidden at the surface level] and what is more hidden [Akhfa, in the subatomic depths]” [Qur’an 20:6-7]

The Prophet Idris (as) In History Pt.1

Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem Assalamu Alaikum.

Idris (as) came from present day Iraq and migrated to present day Egypt, after which his people spread throughout north and western Africa, during his time his people built 88 cities, the first cities on earth, in those times a city was a country so that means his people established 88 civilisations.

The following is a quote from another work: Idris was the third Prophet. He came after Adam and Shith (may peace be upon them). Idris was the first to write with a pen. Fifty Books were revealed to him. He was born in Babylon, a city in Iraq. Before he received the Revelation, he followed the rules revealed to Prophet Shith, the son of Adam. When Idris grew older, Allah bestowed Prophethood on him. During his lifetime all the people were Muslim; no one associated partners with Allah.

Afterwards, Idris left his hometown of Babylon because a great number of his people committed many sins even after he told them not to do so. Some of the Muslims left with Idris. It was hard for them to leave their home.

They asked the Prophet Idris: “If we leave Babylon, where will we find a place like it?” Prophet Idris said: “If we immigrate for the sake of Allah, He will provide for us.” So the people went with Prophet Idris and they reached the land of Egypt. They saw the Nile River. Idris stood at its bank and mentioned Allah, the Exalted, by saying: “Subhanallah.”

Idris (may peace be upon him) was the first to draw for his own people the rules of designing cities.

Every group of the nation of Prophet Idris built cities in their lands. During Prophet Idri s’ time, eighty-eight (88) cities were built (they were among the first civilisations of Man).

Prophet Idris was famous for his wisdom. Among his wise statements is: “Patience is of three kinds: a) to be patient in performing what Allah made obligatory among the matters of obedience: like praying and fasting Ramadan b) to be patient in refraining from what Allah forbade: like leaving out prayers, drinking alcohol, and stealing c) to be patient when inflicted with hardships and calamities: like the pain or the harm caused by people, poverty, or sadness, along with belief, leads to success.”

After Prophet Idris died, Iblis appeared to the people in the shape of a man. He whispered to them to build five statues of five pious men who had died so that they would always remember them. Some people made the statues of those five pious men.

After a long period of time, Iblis whispered to them to blaspheme and worship these statues. Some of the people followed him.

Sometime after the death of Idris, ignorance spread among the people.

There was no Prophet among the people at that time. Iblis appeared to the people and told them: “Worship those five statues.” The people worshipped those statues and as a result, became idol worshipper. (this was not the first kufr to appear, but when people on earth began to worship other people as gods).

وَقَالُوا لا تَذَرُنَّ ءالِهَتَكُمْ وَلا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلا سُوَاعًا وَلا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا

Ayah 23 of Surat Nuh states the names of the five pious Muslims the people made statues of and worshipped. The names of those five pious Muslims were: Wadd, Suwa, Yaghuth, Ya’uq, and Nasr.

After blasphemy had spread on earth, Allah sent a Prophet named Nuh, (may peace be upon him). He started calling the people to Islam; to worship only Allah and not to associate partners with Him.

The period between Idris and Nuh was one thousand years.

Our master Nuh moved among the people telling them: “O you people leave out that which you worship other than Allah: Worship Allah alone. Leave out worshipping those five statues and worship Allah alone.”

Our master Nuh, (may peace be upon him), was the first Messenger sent to the blasphemers, to call them to worship Allah alone.

For 950 years our master Nuh, may peace be upon him, moved among the people telling them to worship Allah alone. Most of them belied him, mocked him, and harmed him.

Then Allah revealed to him that no one else among his people would become believers. Those who believed already were about eighty-three (83) people.

Nuh started making supplication to Allah against them, saying:

وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ لا تَذَرْ عَلَى الأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا

Allah revealed to Nuh to build an ark, and Allah revealed how to build it. Nuh built the ark, then went on it. His three children who were believers went with him. Each one of them had his wife with him. People who believed in him from other than his relatives also went on the ark.

On the ark Nuh took a pair of each kind of animal: cows, sheep, and other than that. Allah ordered the earth to spring up its water and the sky to bring down its water. The water of the sky and the water of the earth both joined and the water covered the earth. The ark and those on it survived.

Allah, the Exalted, drowned all the humans who had belied Prophet Nuh and remained worshipping the idols.

Then the earth stopped its water from springing forth and the sky held its rain from falling down. After a while, the earth became as dry as it had been before the flood.

The ark landed on a mountain near the city of Mousil in Iraq. This mountain is called al-Judiyy. Prophet Nuh and those with him came down from the ark on to earth.

The ark landed on al-Ju diyy, and Prophet Nuh and those with him went on land once again.

Of those who went out of the ark, none had children–except for Sam, Ham, and Yafith — the three sons of Nuh. Those three had children and from them humans spread: the Arabs, Romans, Indians, Africans and others. All people on earth today are offspring of Nuh’s three Muslim sons.

A long period of time after Prophet Nuh, some people started to associate partners with Allah and worship other than Allah. Allah sent a Prophet among the Arabs who was in Yaman. His name was Hud.

Prophet Hud started calling the people to Islam, telling them: “O people, worship Allah alone and leave out that which you worship other than Allah.” Some believed in him and others belied him.

Some people believed in Hud, may peace be upon him and others belied him, so Allah destroyed them with the wind.

Allah, the Exalted, directed a strong wind on them for seven nights and eight days. The wind blew them in the air and dropped them down on earth with their heads separated from their bodies. All people of Aad (Aad is the name of Hud’s tribe) died– except for the believers.

Idris (as), Noah (as) and Time

According to the documentary hypothesis (one of four models used to explain the origins of the first five books of the Bible, and is the most widespread and commonly agreed upon hypotheses), the first five books of the Bible (Pentateuch/Torah), including Genesis, were collated during the 5th century BC from four main sources, which themselves date from no earlier than the 10th century BC.

That means the prophet Nuh (as) is said to have lived before the 10th and 11th century BC, the dates are not exact but that is the time scale we are speaking about.

The people of Idris (as) met their end with the flood Allah sent during His (as) time, looking at this period scientifically it coincided with some significant dates.

For example, “the end of the Younger Dryas (period) has been dated to around 11,550 years ago, occurring at 10,000 BP”, BP means before the year 2000. “The International Commission on Stratigraphy put the start of the Greenlandian stage, and implicitly the end of the Younger Dryas, at 11,700 years before 2000.”

The Antarctic Cold Reversal appears to have started a thousand years before the Younger Dryas and has no clearly defined start or end. The Huelmo/Mascardi Cold Reversal in the Southern Hemisphere ended at the same time.

The world has gone through drastic changes which some modern Islamic scholars question their validity because of how they interpret related ahadith, believing the ahadith make it impossible to accept science.

Ibn Abbas (ra) said: “The world is seven days. Each day is like a thousand years. And The Messenger of Allah (saws) was sent at the end of that.” (Suyuti)

Anas ibn Malik (ra) said that The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: The life span of the world is seven days in the afterlife days. Almighty Allah said, “a day with your Lord is equivalent to a thousand years in the way you count”. (Suyuti)

So, what do these time periods mean? the context of the statement tells you the meaning of the words, a person can say my dunya is 40 years old referring to his life, or modern society is 40 years old, in fact we often use this kind of time keeping in documenting periods, we say pre industrial or postmodern in contrast to what existed other than this, this is that manner of speaking in Arabic.

Here is alternate date from the prophet so is it contradictory or rather both are refring to different things and translators failed to understand the context of each:

“According to a hadith narrated by many scholars, including Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, the great hadith scholar and founder of the Hanbali school, the Prophet (saws) refers to the beginning of a certain calendar, saying, the time that had passed in the world up until him was 5600 years:

Ahmad ibn Hanbal transmitted in his ‘Ilal: “Five thousand six hundred years have passed from this world”. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 89)”

That is about 5000BC so that hadith should read the Dunya you know is 5600 years old, this roughly coincides with the time period of Ibrahim (as) and most likely refers to the birth of the Arabs and Jews. These time periods are likely marking events in the life time the prophets and how they changed the Dunya of the world.

You will find Rasul Allah (saws) is more nuanced in His (saws) speech than modern scholars are in theirs, and give Him (saws) credit for, so don’t ascribe simplicity to someone Allah taught the nature of subatomic space to (24:35) that is at the height of all knowledge.

Rasul Allah (saws) explains what He (saws) meant by 7000 years in other ahadith.

Ibn Abd al-Hamid says in his Commentary; Muhammad ibn Fadl narrates from Hammad bin Zayd, and he from Yahya ibn Atik, and he from Muhammad ibn Sirin and he from one of the People of the Book who became a Muslim that,

Allah created the earth and sky (physical and subatomic) in six days. A day with your Lord is equivalent to a thousand years in the way you count. And (likewise) the life span of the world (you know) is six days, and the Day of Reckoning will fall on the seventh. Six days have gone by, and you are in the seventh.”

This gives a new meaning to the term lifespan that all these ahadith are talking about, 7000 years is a period in between periods, what came before it and what will come after it.

At-Tabarani in al-Mu’jam al-Kabir says: Ahmad ibn Nadr al-Askari and Jaffar Ibn Muhammad al-Faryabi (with the full history of its transmission) narrated. They said from Daqqaq Ibn Zaid Al-Juhani that:

I had a dream and told it to Messenger of Allah (saws). He spoke the words inside him: O Messenger of Allah, I am with you on a seven-stepped pulpit, and you are on its highest degree. He (saws) said: As for the seven-stepped pulpit, I am on the highest step, the life of the world is seven thousand years. And I shall be in the last thousand.

Because of this hadith it is impossible for the 7000 years in the first ahadith to have meant this is how long the earth has existed for, or this is how long man has been on earth, or this is how much time exactly man has left on earth, because we are in the year 1439 hijri and the thousandth year in these ahadith finished in the year 1000 hijri.

So, every hadith that mentions 7000 years for this world that time period has already expired.

What Rasul Allah (saws) meant by 7000 years is that, the world you know will exist for 7000 years, the world has changed because of climatic events on a global scale a number of times, this has forced human migration and habits.

That means the Dunya we know that has existed on earth has changed and the last one we know, its current image (shape) will last for 7000 year before the hour is established and new events occur that will end the universe, (which will also take their own time to occur), so the number 7000 is neither exact or means the history of the world, but the lifespan of how the world looks, most likely under the influence of the children of Abraham who Allah made a covenant with to shape the earth:

“God asks Abraham to do certain things, in return for which he will take special care of them. The covenant between God and Jews is the basis for the idea of the Jews as the chosen people. The first covenant was between God and Abraham. Jewish men are circumcised as a symbol of this covenant.”

“You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you.” (Genesis 17)

Anas ibn Malik narrates that the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: The lifespan of (Your Dunya) is seven days in the days of the afterlife. Almighty Allah has said: One day in the sight of your lord is like a thousand years. Allah will ascribe the equivalent of good deeds of the seven thousand years of the age of this world to the one who meets the need of any of his brothers in the faith on the path of Allah as if he spends his days in fasting and his nights in worship. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 88)

That means the original time for Qiyamah was in the year 1000 hijrah, But of course, as is well known, later the messenger of Allah (saws) said “I hope my community will not fail to maintain their position in the sight of their Lord if He delays them half a day (beyond the thousand). Sa’d was asked: How long is half a day? He said: It is five hundred years”. (Sahih, Abu Dawud, Al-Hakim, Imam Ahmad and Abu Nai’m)

The Prophet (saws) said, “Allah will not fail to detain this community for less than half a day (500 years)”. (Abu Dawud, Sahih)

Imam Tirmidhi (ra) narrates in his Jamii from Asim who narrated from Zirr who narrated from ‘Abdullah who narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) who said: “A man is coming from the people of my family whose name agrees with my name.” ‘Asim said: “Abu Salih narrated to us from Abu Hurairah, who said: ‘If there did not remain in the world but one day (1000 years Hijrah), then Allah would extend that day (the half day mentioned above) until he comes (to 1500 years Hijrah, we are now in 1439 Hijrah).’” (Hasan, Vol. 4, Book 7, Hadith 2231)

The Messenger of Allah said, “Even if there remains from this world a single day (1000 years), Allah will send a man from us who will fill it with justice, just as it was filled with oppression.” (Ahmad) And in another narration, ‘Ali related that the Messenger of Allah said, “The Mahdi is from us — the family of the Prophet, Allah will rectify him in a single night.” (Ahmad) And “The world will not pass away before the Arabs are ruled by a man (referring to Imam Mahdi) of my family whose name will be the same as mine” (Abu Dawood)

Imam Al-Bukhari narrates 6 Ahadith in his Sahih in which the prophet (saws) gives an Analogy about the lifespan of Islam on Earth, the knowledge of this subject was well known and discussed.

So, that was the example of those people (Muslims) and the example of this light (guidance) which they have accepted willingly. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 37, Hadith 11)

If you understand this analogy then you understand that the existence of the universe and life in it is at the expense and discretion of the Muslim Ummah, the Muslims are doing the work of keeping this universe “alive”.

The world the kufar built is from the light of Muhammad (saws) and because of it, Allah states this clearly in the Quran when He tells them what they have achieved is only Allah’s promise to teach them about the entire universe:

“In time We shall make them (the kufar) fully understand Our messages [through what they perceive] in the utmost horizons [of the universe] and within themselves [the microscopic and subatomic], so that it will become clear unto them that this [revelation] is indeed the truth.” [Qur’an 41:53]

This is the understanding and acceptance of the Mala’ikah, who have all lowered their heads and prostrated to this reality that the universe only exists because of the Muslim Ummah.

What more proof is there than the fact Allah extended the lifespan of this universe for Imam Mahdi (as) so He (as) can rectify what the kufar planned from the time the Muslims entered Jerusalem and the Christians started the work of corrupting them away from their Ihsan generation after generation, Allah’s curse be upon them.

Why would Allah extend the life of the universe just so justice can be seen in it? this is because each creation is responsible for bringing into existence something of Allah’s knowledge, the creatures with freewill choose what they want to embody in this life, the people of good bring good into existence the people of evil bring evil.

Imam Mahdi (as) will spread Justice on earth in the exact same measure as we are seeing evil spread today, that is His (as) choice and achievements in life and for that Allah will extend the life of the entire universe so that kind of justice has a chance to exist, so it can be known, so nature (taste) of Allah’s qualities in it can be seen, the Muslim Ummah will help Him (as) do this work.

“Do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction” (2:195), because they want to remove Islam from earth the Mala’ikah have taken this verse upon themselves and made it haram for them to hand over the reins and future of what Allah created to the Kufar, lest Allah ask them if they had a hand in ending their own lives.

Because of this “hole” the kufar have taken the world into, this is now the new reality:

“It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah ; but [the decree of] Allah came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision.” (59:2)

This is why in the bible it is Europe, one faction of the ruling class, that will dismantle America and the west and only after that will the major wars of the end begin.

These ahadith about Allah extending the lifespan of the universe by half a day are not saying the world will end in 1500 hijra, the prophets (saws) statements are general descriptions in a conversation, not exact and precise scientific statements in a research paper, we invented that language and its connotations, so learn how people normally spoke in the ancient world to understand these ahadith, don’t make them speak how you think.

When Allah revealed this to Rasul Allah (saws) He (saws) then said “The life of my community WILL NOT EXCEED 1500 YEARS.”

(Suyuti, Al-Kashf ‘an Mujawazat Hadhihi al-Ummah al-Alf, ‘Al-Hawi lil-Fatawi’, Suyuti. 2/248, Tafsir Ruh al-Bayan. Bursawi 4/262, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Kitab al-`Ilal, p. 89)

He also said (saws) “I CAME AT THE AFTERNOON PRAYER OF MANKIND”. (Ahmad ibn Hanbal. Kitab al-`Ilal p.89).

When you read what else He (saws) said is to occur after this time you will understand, our work The Lifespan Of Islam On Earth gives a complete account of these ahadith.

The Knowledge Of Idris (as)

Through History among non-Islamic civilisations Idris (as) was known as Hermes;

Abu Maˁshar in his Book of Thousands writes: Hermes is a title, like Caesar or Khusrau. Its first bearer, who lived before the Flood, was whom the Persians call Abanjhan, the grandson of Jayumart (= Kayumart), the Persian Adam; and he whom the Hebrews call Khanukh (Enoch), whose name in Arabic is Idris. The Harranians call upon his wisdom (declare his prophethood).

Ibn Abi Uṣaibiˁa, Uyun al-anba said: He (= Asclepius) was a pupil of Hermes the Egyptian. Abū Maˁshar says: “There were three persons called Hermes (in history). Hermes the First, he upon whom the threefold Grace was conferred (the prophet), lived before the Flood. The meaning of Hermes is appellative, as is the case of Caesar and Khusrau. The Persians, in their historical books, call him Hoshang, that is, the Righteous, and it is he whose prophecy the Harranians (People of Harran) mention. The Persians say that his grandfather was Kayomarth, that is, Adam. The Hebrews say that he is Akhnukh (Enoch), that is, Idris in Arabic.

We have written about the Prophet Idris’s knowledge of the universe recorded in the Book of Enoch elsewhere, here is another sample of the prophet’s knowledge about subatomic space from his words recorded in the Emerald tablets of the prophet Idirs (as), this work was the basis for the fabled philosophers stone, it was thought in the prophets words lay the formula for the compound that would turn base metals into gold, we are giving it its proper tafsir here.

The prophet Idris (saws) in a tafsir from the dawn of man, dating back more than 12000 years, gives a scientific explanation of the sun’s subatomic reaction, explaining in detail how it works.

Speaking about subatomic particles and the forces of the universe that affect them, He (as) said:

Tis true without lying, certain & most true.

That which is below (the earthly, the physical) is like that which is above (the spiritual, the subatomic) & that which is above is like (is influenced by) that which is below (it is a two-way relationship) to do the miracles of one only thing (to do the miracles Allah the one, the force of the universe).

And as all things have been & arose (where created) from one (particle) by the meditation of one (the intervention of the force of the universe): so all things have their birth from this one thing (the particle) by adaptation (from it; All Things Are Created From particles, Atoms).

The Sun is its father (the sun is a giant subatomic reaction), the moon its mother (the moon reflects the suns forces and affects earth subatomicaly), the wind hath carried it in its belly (weather on earth is a result of atmospheric pressure and energy, it influences how these particles move and behave on earth), the earth is its nurse (the earth nurtures the creations that come from it and helps them grow).

The father of all perfection in the whole world is here (perfection comes subtleness, And Angels do the work of subtleness/perfection in the universe, giving it to man, and by extension the kingdom of God, “Allah is the light (particles) of the heavens and the earth” (24:35), hence the father of all prophethood is here).

Its force or power is entire if it be converted into earth (Subatomic particles become physical matter, hence it takes all forces in the universe to create physical matter).

Separate thou the earth (physical) from the fire (subatomic), the subtle (Latif) from the gross sweetly with great industry (science. This is how you will find the subatomic, in other words differentiate between the physical and subatomic with science through your work, through experiments, through chemistry, scholars through history understood this much and created the science of Alchemy to achieve this).

It (particles) ascend from the earth to the heaven (space) & again it (they) descend to the earth & recieves the force (influence) of things superior & inferior (particles are influenced by the forces in nature. The balance on earth influences the balance of the universe and vice versa, Allah teaches this and the Philosophers stone in Surah al Rahman).

By this means, (the subatomic world), you shall have the glory of (power over) the whole world (Allah says in Surah al Mulk, “Blessed/Elevated Is He in whose hand is the Dominion (control over the Universe), Who Has Power to do All things (67:1)).

& thereby all obscurity (veils of perception) shall fly from you (you will understand the nature of things, the nature of the universe, the nature of creation, the nature of Allah, (41:53), the nature of prophethood).

Its (subatomic) force is above all (earthly) force. For it vanquishes every subtle thing (subatomic thing) & penetrates every solid thing (subatomic forces manipulate subatomic particles and these particles and forces pass through all solid objects).

So was the world created (from this).

From this are & do come admirable adaptations (all things, creations by variation, the particles combining with each other to create everything) whereof the means (process) is here in this (reality).

Hence, I am called Hermes Trismegist (thrice blessed), having the three parts of the philosophy (science) of the whole world (that explains the entire universe).

That which I have said of the operation of the Sun (how it works) is accomplished & ended.

(I have taught you how the sun works, fulfilled my duty to Allah to spread the knowledge He has given to me. You will find similar statements in the Book of Enoch). (End of Quote)

These precise explanations of Idris (as) are not unique in the least among his teaching, the Book of Enoch (Idris) contains similar explanations about all the celestial bodies including blackholes, in it the Mala’ikah promise to preserve the book for future generations just like Allah promised to preserve the Quran.

The text of the Smaragdine Tablet its author is Hermes Trismegistus (“Hermes the Thrice-Blessed”), it dates back to sixth and eighth century Arabic texts, the veracity of the text is well established by the reality of its contents and the fact its author signed it at the end as Idris (as), this translation was done by Isaac Newton a translator well versed in science and language.

The oldest documentable source of the text is the “Kitab Balaniyus al-Hakim fi’l-`Ilal Kitāb sirr al-ḫalīqa” كتاب سر الخليقة و صنعة الطبيعة أو كتاب العلل للحكيم بلنياس (book of Balinas the wise on the Causes (of the Universe)) written in Arabic between the sixth and eighth centuries. “Balinas” (or Pseudo-Apollonius of Tyana) in his book, Balinas explains that the Emerald Tablet is ancient Hermetic wisdom, he discovered the text in a vault below a statue of Hermes in Tyana (In Anatolia), and that, inside the vault, an old corpse on a golden throne held the emerald tablet (a king wishing to be buried with his treasured knowledge).

Following Balinas, an early version of the Emerald Tablet appeared in Kitab Sirr al-Asrar: (Book of the Secret of Creation and the Art of Nature), itself a composite of earlier works, and in Kitab Ustuqus al-Uss al-Thani (Second Book of the Elements of Foundation) attributed to Jabir ibn Hayyan. The text is also in an enlarged thirteenth century edition of Secretum Secretorum (also known as Kitab Sirr al-Asrar).

Everything Will Perish Except What Man Knows

House of Abu Bakr Al Siddique (ra)

Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem, Assalamu Alaikum.

Man’s continuous stupidity comes from the fact Jinn are their Imams, while Allah created Man in His image so Man can look at His face.

Jinn can only be an aspect of mans character at most, that is why multiple Jinn are needed to cover every aspect in Man while the opposite is not the same, man can be a jack of all trades and a master of them all, Jinn can not.

Angels are even more refined than this but their numbers are so many and their speed so immense in helping each other they can keep up with man, but still, it is their reality and limitation and when you reach situations that are Immense that require the hand of a prophet or wali Angels prostrate to their judgment.

This is the Honor Allah placed in man, to be able to look at His face every direction He turns while His other creatures can only ever see an aspect of it at a time, some parts of Allah’s character they will never know.

“Everything will perish except His face,” (28:88)  everything Jinn and Angels know will perish except what man knows.

Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah the Almighty does not sleep and it is not befitting that He sleep. He lowers and raises the scale, the deeds of the night are raised to Him before the deeds of the day, and the deeds of the day are raised to Him before the night. His veil is light. If He were to remove the veil, the splendor of his countenance would consume His creation as far as can be seen.” (Muslim) except for what Allah placed in Man, Allah istawa (established His reality on) the Arsh and only man can enter it, Angels and Jinn their limit is where it begins they can only guess what Allah placed in mans soul whose origin is the Arsh, it is a secret from His reality:

“They are asking thee concerning the Soul. Say: The Soul is by command of my Lord, and of knowledge ye have been vouchsafed but little.” (17:85)

Because of Man’s soul Allah’s face burns both Jinn and Angels while Man seeks it, the prophet (saws) said “I seek refuge in Your Glorious Face that You might give me shade. You are the Living who does not die, while men and jinn die.”

“O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both my hands (A complete creation spiritual and physical). Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one (who sees himself as one) of the highly exalted?” (Sad 38:75)

“To Allah belong the East and the West; whithersoever you turn, there is the Face of Allah; Allah is All-embracing, All-knowing. (2:115) this is the limit of Jinn and the superiority of Man.

Abdullah ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever drags his garment out of pride, then Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.” Abu Bakr said, “One of my robes will slide down unless I am cautious about it.” The Prophet said, “Verily, you are not doing it out of pride.” (Bukhari) There is nothing that pride consumes more than Jinn and most of them will never see the face of Allah, His complete reality, or know what is there this is the same for the humans who take Jinn as there Imams.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There are three to whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, nor will He look at them: an old man who commits adultery, a king who lies, and an arrogant person in poverty.” (Muslim) These are the qualities in people, in their various situations in life, who will never see the face of Allah, who will never be allowed to understand Allah.

Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah, “When this verse, ‘Say (O Muhammad) He has power to send punishment on you from above’ [6:65], was revealed, the Prophet (saws) said, ‘I seek refuge with Your Face’. Allah revealed, ‘Or from underneath your feet’ [6:65], the Prophet (saws) said, ‘I seek refuge with Your Face’. Then Allah revealed ‘Or to cover you with confusion or party strife!’ [6:65], then the Prophet (saws) said, ‘This is easier’. (for the Pagans to bear, because it is a veil blinding them from looking and ignorance is a protection for a time)”

“I seek refuge in Allah the Mighty (al-Adheem) and in His Noble Face and His Eternal Power from Shaytan the Accursed” (Sunan Abu Dawuud)

“And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever.” (Ar-Rahman 55:27)

Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Three people will not be shocked by terror nor will they face the Reckoning, for they will be on a dune of musk until Allah finishes holding his servants to account: a man who recites the Quran seeking the countenance of Allah and he guides people with it and they are pleased with him, a preacher who calls to the five prayers seeking the countenance of Allah, and a servant who sets things right between himself and his Lord and between himself and his patron.” (al-Mu’jam al-Awsaṭ 9276)

“O Allah, by your knowledge of the Unseen and your power over the creation, give me life as long as you know life is good for me and take me away if you know passing is better for me. O Allah, I ask you for fear of you in the Unseen and the seen. I ask you for truthful words in times of pleasure and anger. I ask you for moderation in times of poverty and wealth. I ask you for a blessing that will never expire. I ask you for comfort that will never end. I ask you for satisfaction after the decree of providence. I ask you for a soothing existence after death. I ask you for the sweetness of looking upon your face and longing to meet you without enduring a harmful calamity nor a misguiding trial. O Allah, adorn us with the beauty of faith and make us guides to guide others.” (Sunan al-Nasā’ī 1305)

The Nature Of Time And Qadr

The tomb of Muhyiddin Ibn ‘Arabi (ra).

Bismillahi rahmani raheem, assalamu alaikum.

I received a question by someone who thought I do not believe in predestination because of a comment they interpreted according to their nafs. In Islam if a person is not directly teaching that predestination does not exist you have no right to accuse Him of it, such things are subject to shariah law regarding public defamation and character assassination, even if you are just asking a question. A person may not intend wrong, but things like manslaughter exist because people don’t intend to kill as well and one comment among countless books and articles I have written hardly warrants a question of character, so it was obvious they were grasping at straws.

The Nature Of Time And Qadr

Allah is not bound by this universe, He has no direction, up, down, east, west, north, south, and He is not bound by time or the passing of time, there is no forward or backwards no future or past.

So then you may ask how do we know Him, how does He exist.

The first thing you have to understand is that Allah sees everything happening now in the universe all at the same time, all of it.

The next thing you have to understand is that He sees everything happening through all of time, all at the same time.

This may make you ask are we all living at the same point in time, the answer is no Allah created time to make this separation between events and His knowledge of them, we are not speaking hypothetically but what the universe can and can’t do, this is not philosophy but physics, science and the laws that run the universe.

This will lead you to then conclude we are all just playing out what Allah knows, and if Allah knows it all then what is the point of life, why did He create it why not just create the people of Hell in hell and the people of Jannah in Jannah…The answer is simple that would be Zulm (oppression) so Allah created the universe in a way to avoid this very thing.

Imam Ibn Arabi (ra) explained Allah created everything to give each thing in the universe independence from His knowledge of it so it can choose its own fate, rather so it has a chance to change its fate.

Regarding this the prophet (saws) said “nothing changes predestination like dua”, it will race ahead of it and beat it.

This tells us Allah placed in His creation for man, Angel, Jinn and everything else the ability to make something new of our fate.

You don’t need to understand how, just that it exists, this is not magic but science about the nature of the universe, time, space, how Allah exists (etc), which most of you can’t understand because you do not have the intellect for it, it is enough the prophet (saws) said it exists.

If I was to explain it and the scholars know the answer of how, I would start by telling you the universe is a bubble of time and you are playing out your life in it, anyone outside the universe can see inside it just like you would look at a globe of the earth. Next you need to understand time only exists inside the universe because it created it, so everything outside the universe is timeless (at one point in time).

No doubt you would say, because you think you are smart, my clock is ticking and that means time is passing for everyone and everything inside and outside the universe. Your clock only counts numbers and it can only do so as long as time exists and in a place that time exists.

We are talking about the time that the universe measures, and inside the universe time can flow faster or slower in places (science has proved this with experiments), time on earth is not the same as on the sun or in a black hole, all because time is something created and tied to the fabric of the universe, the stuff it is made of and makes everything work and not the ticking of your clock which has deluded your understanding of nature.

If the stuff that makes everything work bends or stretches then time will move in the same way it bends and stretches (Albert Einstein).

Allah created the universe to give us freedom and the ability to change fate, He knows all the answers, that has not changed and many things are predestined, but He has created order in the universe, some things (or issues) are more exalted than others and Allah has said they (the larger issues in life) can be changed by us, like if you are going to hell or heaven in the end.

The laws that run this universe, physics, chemistry, biology etc, the prophet (saws) intimated they account for exactly 50% of what is predetermined by Allah, this is the fate the pen wrote until the end of time.

The other 50% of life is determined by freewill and our choices, what YOU MUST UNDERSTAND is that Allah’s knowledge is not predestination, you are confused about what the term is referring to, Predestination is what is written down literally in the universe, either by the Angels, in a book of Allah or somewhere else holy (INSIDE the universe), because these places then ensure they come about in the universe, that is their role and purpose (for the sake of understanding we can say Allah’s knowledge of the future exists outside the universe and is not affecting it).

Allah’s knowledge of things is above predestination, He has separated it from influencing the universe, overriding our freewill, this is the part you will find hard to understand how it exists because you need to understand the nature behind what Allah created at a scientific level, not the level of a casual conversation.

If I say I know for certain this dog is going to run at some point in the future, I am not the one who made Him run or made Him choose to run, my knowledge of the dog is separate from the dogs choices and ability to run, Allah made that distinction between knowledge and actual created things. Predestination, Allah tied it to created things and what makes them work, it is subject to the laws of the universe and how dua can override it.

Yes that level of finite differentiation exists with Allah, and we can go further explaining…you just don’t understand why or how it is significant and that is the crux of the matter.

How Do You Know Allah Is Training You?

Bismillahi rahmani raheem assalamu alaikum.

I received the following Question:

Salaamu Alayka ya shaykh. Briefly read your “Answers to Questions by the Shuyukh of Tasawwuf”. I wanted to ask, if it’s not to bold to do so, when did you recognise that your training was through the method you described, events happening in your life, and how did you recognise that? I believe this answer could assist me in understanding myself further, however it is Allah SWT who deems whether I should receive this knowledge or not. (End of Quote)

Allah made it very clear from the start, the first 20 years of my life Allah tested me through trials, when my heart withstood those at the age of 20 in a dream He took me on a miraj accompanied by two Mala’ikat al Kursi to see Rasul Allah (saws) at the place of the resurrection, there He placed knowledge in my heart and then I was asked to stand in a silsila of Naqshbandi Shuyukh, which was both my initiation into the Tariqah and elevation to that rank of shaykh in it. (End Quote)

I am going to quote something from the Naqshbandi Tariqah that will help you see what I saw after 15 years of further training at the hands of Allah:

The aspirant may feel himself to be flying towards the heavenly goals, beholding the wonders of the mysterious and hidden aspects of creation.

If your eyes have been thus opened, and if you are greatly enamored of the wide vistas you have beheld, then be warned. Should you embark upon the Naqshbandi path, your colorful plumage will be clipped and replaced with the humble cloak of obscurity. For the main difference between the Naqshbandi Way and others is that while they are giving, we are taking away. Everything must go, even your separate existence. First you will be without anything, then you will be nothing. Only those who are prepared to take such a step can be real Naqshbandi murids. As long as a drop is falling from the heavens, it may be called a drop. When it falls into the ocean, it is no longer a drop, it is the ocean.

If anyone is interested in spiritual stations and powers, he may attain them through following any of the forty Sufi paths, as these ways are quite efficacious. Through the recitation of the most beautiful names of Allah everyone receives bountifully in accordance with his intention. In the end, however, the sincere seeker will be struck with remorse if he becomes fixated at the stage of stations and states. One day he will perceive how he has fallen victim to distraction and say: “Oh my Lord, I have been wasting myself and my efforts on something other than you.”

Should a seeker’s life end while he is in those states, he will regret that they distracted him from seeking the Divine Countenance of His Lord. Therefore, GrandShaykhs have been ordered to strip their followers of their spiritual adornments, so that they may be presented to their Lord in perfect lowliness: “This is your servant, oh our Lord; accept him. He is lost to himself and exists only for You.” This is their top priority, and helping their followers attain such a reality is their duty.

It is understood by all orders that the strange and enchanting experiences are the scenery of the journey, not the goal. The goal is to reach his Divine Presence by the attraction of the Beloved Himself. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (s) is the Guide and Example. On His miraculous Night Journey, in which He was conducted by the Angel Gabriel (s) first from Makkah to Jerusalem and then up to the Seven Heavens and into the Divine Presence, he passed trough the whole universe. Allah Almighty informs us in the Holy Qur’an that the Prophet’s vision “neither swerved nor wavered” [53:2]. In other words, he looked and beheld but never let those sights distract him from ascending towards his most Exalted Destination. The Holy Prophet was able to behold those sights without being distracted because His Heart was only for His Lord. He was the Beloved of Allah. As for ourselves, we are vulnerable and weak-willed. Those experiences and attainments may accord with our ego’s desires, whereas annihilation is never an attractive proposition for the ego.

Therefore, in order to provide maximum protection, the Naqshbandi Masters take a different approach to the unveiling of the heart’s eye. There are 70,000 veils between us and the Station of the Prophet (s). A Naqshbandi Master rends these veils in descending order, starting with those closest to the Divine Presence and then successively downwards towards the level of the murid. This process continues throughout the training of the murid, until there is but one veil, the Veil of Humanity (hijab al-bashariyya), restraining the murid‘s vision from contemplation of the Divine Reality. In order to protect the murid from attraction to something other than his Lord, however, the GrandShaykh does not rend that last veil until the murid reaches the highest state of perfection, or until his final seven breaths on his deathbed.

If the veils are removed from the bottom up by means of mystical practices, the murid beholds a succession of new panoramas. That very vision may keep him from progressing.

This work is an outline of life in the tariqah, when you read that you recognized your own life in it at the hands of Allah, as I did. People often need others to help them be responsible but a few are responsible by their own account, the later can follow the ways of Allah more easily.

“And (as for) those who strive hard for Us, We will most certainly guide them in Our ways; and Allah is most surely with the perfectionists (Muhsinun).” (29:69)

Al Khaidr was one such person, Allah mentions his story in the Quran, people who receive the Tariqah like myself are trained in such a way.

People often think Allah mentioned the story to teach people about Musa (as) but the point was to tell people Allah has servants like al Khidr (as) who He trains himself, the last of such people will be Imam Mahdi (as) who Allah will elevate in a single night, that means Allah will make the openings of his heart so he can see properly in one night.

If you ask a blind man to describe the ocean from what he has read and another person from what he has seen, whose description will be more accurate? this is how uneducated companions who have never seen a university can know Islam at every level better than a Mujtahid Imam who has memorized every work ever written.

What was the education of al Khidr (as) to be more knowledgeable than Musa (as) who was educated by the Pharaoh of Egypt and Gabriel (as), Maarifah and Kashf from Allah directly, Allah speaking to a persons heart is better than an Angel speaking to you because that knowledge is being placed directly in your soul.

Time: The Nature Of Allah

Bismillahi rahmani raheem assalamu alaikum.

Every one understands that Allah knows everything and Allah sees everything, but what does that actually look like for a being to know all of that?

Look at how man thinks first, he thinks in sequential order, in intervals of time one moment after another continuously from the beginning of his life to its end, event after event, Allah doesn’t He is outside the flow of time and see it all at once.

Man when forming his intellectual thought, that moment of experience and time is built from his 5 physical sense in the body along with his spiritual inspiration regarding that moment, which is the function of the soul to see what is happening in the ghayb around that person, those layers of input/information then shape his experience, heart and intellect.

Keeping in mind Allah does not change, He is now as He ever was, Allah teaches us He is the same because our intellect is created on the Image of Allah, except His is “built” from layers of input/knowledge/information that is uniquely vast spanning all the knowledge and input that exist in the universe.

Allah knows what you know, sees what you see, knows what everyone else knows and sees what everyone else sees, all at the same time, now think back to how you come to understand how other people think, when you can understand the magnitude and vastness of an intellect that can perceive all of that then you will begin to form the first image of Allah in your self.

Your reality is who you are, but what about a being who knows every reality, mankind’s, Jinn and Angels from the first of them to the last of them?

Allah tells us His reality, the beginning of understanding it, is the sum total of every reality in existence because it all exists from His qualities, it comes from Him so we can know Him from our experiences and relate to Him, this is why Allah said “I am as my servant thinks I am”.

Allah did not create something different from Himself, He created things that bear is qualities so that creation, the universe, is the nature of Allah, you just have to study it and then relate what you learned back to Him to see Him in it.

Scholars have all said Allah’s knowledge does not increase or decrease, but understand they have also explained it has a hierarchy of things that come first and things that come last, it is ordered and arranged in priority and that is why time exists to show this and that creatures other than Him, need this hierarchy to learn, they need time Allah does not.

Every event occurs because of the passing of time and so the sum total of time, from the start of the Universe until Allah ends it, is Allah, His will His personality, His decree, His character.

The Prophet (saws) said:

“Do not inveigh against time (al-dahr), for Allah is time”

“Let not any one of you say, ‘Woe to time,’ for Allah is time”

“Allah says, ‘The sons of Adam offend Me and when they say, Woe to time, but they should not say Woe to time. (for) I am time, I alternate the night and the day (I bring change), and if I willed, I could seize them both (Stop Time).’”

The word used in the hadeeth is not waqt (time), but dahr (vicissitudes of time) meaning the actual passing of time, so Allah is saying He is the Passing of time, the events occurring that cause continuous change, this is because time is not the ticking of your clock which is just the counting of numbers but the continuous evolution of the universe from one moment to the next.

The statement of Allah is entirely what physics teach’s today, that time is connected with the fabric of space the stuff the universe is made of and relies on the subatomic reactions in it to exist, time is not the counting of numbers.

Imam al-Nawawi explains what the word time in the hadith refers to: They said: this is a metaphor, because the Arabs used to inveigh against time when disasters such as death, old age, loss of money, etc., happened. They would say, ‘Woe to time’ and other phrases cursing or inveighing against time. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘Do not inveigh against time for Allah is time’, i.e., do not inveigh against the One Who brings about those disasters (brings about change), for that will be directed towards Allah, for He is the One Who causes them to happen (this directly refers to Allah controlling the forces of the universe and its laws, which He stated in the Quran for Rasul Allah (saws))…

The meaning of the phrase “for Allah is time” means that He is the One Who causes those events and accidents to happen (“accidents” between particles, it is a technical term from Islamic physics referring subatomic reactions), and He is the Creator of all that happens. And Allah knows best. (Sharh Muslim, 15/3)

When trying to understand how a persons mind works, how they think in order to find a method to see Allah, understanding the mind of Allah begins at knowing everything happening to us and around us every “where”, and knowing every thing that has occurred through all time past and future, then being able to respond to all of that all at the same time, that is the first image of Allah you should understand.

But that is only the first step because on the day of Judgment He will reveal of Himself to us up to the “shin” and you will realise what i am saying today is not even the starting point of knowing Him, it is your first look from a distance.

“The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able,” (68:42)

The literal translation reads: “(Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (a metaphor indicating quantity of knowledge given in comparison to the entire body) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allah), but they (the hypocrites) shall not be able to do so,”(68:42) (like in many places in the Quran Allah here is singling out the hypocrites of today in this verse, the people who pretend they have religion but don’t).

When you understand how someones mind works you then try to see it for yourself in practice, likewise what we are describing is that step, when Allah reveals His shin on the day of resurrection you will see for yourself how this description is then, what it is like to perceive from a spiritual height, that is what this verse is saying.

Understand, like the Isra wal Miraj of Rasul Allah (saws) was almost timeless, a 33 year Journey from Makkah to Jerusalem and then into the heavens up to the Arsh that occurred in the span of a night, and that how similarly you experience an hour long dream in about 3 seconds; When your spirituality is raised you have mastery over events occurring in time, at that moment you will learn how to see Allah with clarity.

You will learn how He sees.
