Where Are Yajuj wa Majuj - Gog and Magog
My research and study into the subject of Yajuj wa Majuj represents the opinions and views of the major scholars and historians of Islam on this matter, expanded on in light of modern knowledge, it maybe new to you but that is only because no other scholar has done this in our time. My research began before i wrote the book "The Syrian Uprising and Sings Of The Hour" some years ago. It was a topic i deliberately chose not to write about in the book because of the mystery and conflicting accounts on this subject between classical scholars and modern shaykhs who portrayed the subject as almost fantasy, so i said 'Allah knows best' and left it alone for a time.
But after writing our book we gained a deep insight into the subject and the prophets (saws) understanding of events, this placed us in a unique position to answer related questions with certainty and authority which any person who hadn't conducted such a study would otherwise not, hence as with all knowledge Allah places in a person's heart that person becomes responsible for it.
The work answers a number of Important Questions that have never been answered before, and in doing so shows that the fantasy understanding Muslims have today about this subject and these tribes, was entirely manufactured in the modern era and grossly departed from the views of classical scholars. The reader will find that from Mujtahid scholars like Imam Qurtubi, to various Islamic historians, they all viewed these people as normal humans living in a land north of Arabia and every prophecy regarding them was grounded in rational thought, our work insha Allah represents their views and insha Allah comes to the same conclusions as they would have had they had the benefit of knowing the world as we know it today, given our technological advancements, detailed maps and study of the world.
